Caveclaw needed to get to training her two current apprentices.

They may not be able to leave the Twoleg Den currently, but they can still get battle training in.
So, that was the plan.

"Stormpaw, Moonpaw." She said loud enough for them to hear from where they were "Come over here."

Moonpaw had perked up the second she heard her name. Almost immediately bounding over, she stopped herself from running past and immediately- plus clumsily- fell over. She got up, and confidently nodded.

So, Stormpaw hadn't shown up.
Hopefully she'd get to train her soon.

Caveclaw decided to direct her focus to Moonpaw, pretending she didn't see her stumble a bit.
"So, are you ready for battle training?" They asked.

Ah, good, Stormpaw had made it.

Looking at both of her apprentices, she gave a flick of her tail.
"Basic land combat." Caveclaw replied "You'll practice on each other."

She waited another moment "You'll practice basic swipes first." She began.
Caveclaw then gave an example, standing on their hind legs and swiping their paws at the air.

After doing so, she sat back down.
"Keep your claws sheathed and practice on each other."

Moonpaw focused entirely on keeping her claws sheathed as she practiced, aiming her paw swipes quickly and efficiently.

Both of them seemed to be doing pretty well as Caveclaw let it go on for a little while.
"Alright, enough." She said simply.

After waiting another moment, giving them time to stop, Caveclaw moved onto what was next.
"Next, I want you to practice tackling each other." They explained "This can be done however. Some cats do it in different ways depending on their strengths, like bulk or speed, for example. Try not to hurt each other, and again, keep your claws sheathed. Take turns 'tackling' each other."

Another silent moment went by.
"Begin."
