[Multi-Faction] Mentors Needed!

Hello hello! Me again!

This time I come to you with something simple, I've got a few kits who are approaching their apprenticeship and I wanted to go ahead and start searching for their mentor.

WindClan


Songkit - Song is the more gentle of the litter. She is naïve and trusting, always seeing the best in others. She wants everycat to get along, and is always trying to interrupt fights between her littermates. She relies on her littermates, and acknowledges her weaknesses, though she does also feel guilty for it. Song doesn't expect greatness from herself, as long as she's able to know that she's doing everything possible, she is content with that.

Potential challenges: her gentle nature, she is extremely attached to her brother Ferret, and now that she is the only daughter she feels an increasing sense of responsibility towards her brothers.

Mentor: Bluestrike


Jasminekit - sweeter than honey in the most honest and pure way. She is very family oriented, soft-spoken, generous, and easily tred over by her denmates and any of her littermates who are louder and more outspoken. as she grows into a warrior, at some point she will find herself challenged to maintain her sweetness. tired of being treated like a doormat by others she'll have a moment where she'll pop. this will fill her with regret, but also make her realize that she can't continue to give to others while leaving nothing for herself. And it is at this moment that Jasmine will begin to find true happiness in herself and her life. Jasmine loves everything about being in WindClan. She is a fiercely loyal cat who dreams of one day having her own family and idolizes her parents' romance. She loves running and hunting, though she hates the idea of bringing harm to anything she couldn't stand the thought of not providing for her clanmates when she's able to. the core aspects of her personality, her generosity and kind heart, will never go away. she will one day learn how to stand up for herself more and draw boundaries.

Potential challenges: In short, she has little to no backbone. She’s the type to endlessly support her friends, but struggles to see her own accomplishments and strengths.



RiverClan


Whisperingkit - She feels self-conscious about carrying her father's name and puts a lot of pressure on herself because of that. She is very close to her mom, but will have one-sided conversations with her father in StarClan and imagine what his response would be when she feels like she needs guidance. She is observant of others, and overall friendly. A little on the timid side, but not so much so that she avoids others.

Potential challenges: She would have preferred to train as a medicine cat, but understands that Berryshine already has an apprentice and so doesn’t want to ask this of her or Cobwebfern. This will likely be a continuous point of tension for her apprenticeship.



ThunderClan


Spiderkit - Spider is a timid little bean who tries to make everycat around her happy. she looks forward to being able to be of service to her clan someday, and loves her family more than life. she struggles a lot with the death of her littermates, not only due to the manner of their deaths (leading to her having an irrational fear of dying in her sleep), but also because she now feels like she has to compensate for their loss somehow. She feels that if she doesn't live her life to the absolute fullest and then some, that she will somehow let her deceased littermates down. She feels that she owes it to them in some way, because she survived and they didn't, to be the best warrior possible. Because of that, she often tries to force herself into situations that would otherwise be uncomfortable for her, or that she would rather shrink from - such as sitting in the camp clearing alone instead of clinging to her family's side.

Potential challenges: Spider is likely to push herself, she believes this is the only way to grow. This can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing if she pushes herself too far. This would go for physical as well as emotional/mental boundaries, making her vulnerable to collapse from exhaustion or panic attacks. She struggles to ask for help because she wants to be able to do things on her own, as she believes this is what it means to be strong.


Thrushkit - Will be named Sunrisepaw. Started out on the timid side, but now has become a bit more confident. She feels the need to speak up on behalf of her littermates, and therefore can be a little bossy. She is generally quiet, but also a very patient and active listener and keen observer. She prefers helping others with their problems rather than discuss her own, and almost permanently has a concerned look on her face. She is prone to attempting to be a voice of reason when her littermates get rowdy, but is used to being ignored. She strives not to make things harder for her clan, and refuses to speak about her parents in general. She is a rare case in ThunderClan, as she doesn’t hate fish (she likes the taste, texture, and how it makes her fur lush). Though she knows better than to bring it to camp.

Potential challenges: Thrush/Sunrise will be rough around the edges. She’s going to work hard, but also be very protective of her siblings which may make her overly mindful of others as well. She does not like to be touched, and is particularly cautious around older “parent-aged” cats due to what happened with her mom at the meeting. She still has some feelings to process about her mother, she doesn’t hate her but she’s angry. But she hasn’t taken the time to process because she’s been focused on her littermates, particularly Hawk/Hail.

Oooo that's not a bad idea! With Bouncepaw about to be a warrior too, it's nice timing. And I've heard Bluestrike is endlessly patient. XD

Yep!!! But mainly cuz Bouncepaw was so sweet lol! Do you wanna give it a try when song becomes an apprentice?

Song is definitely a little sweetheart, so I think they'd be a good match! If anything, she might need a bit of a push to be more independent!

Ahhhh that's so hard! Milkbee having been the one to approach the kits after Larkswoop and Hawk-kit would make her an interesting pair with Thrush/Sunrise. Plus her personality would probably help Thrush/Sunrise become a little more controlled and tame and grow into a more balanced character. She could offer the same for Spider though...

But Mothflame and Thrush/Sunrise is also a fascinating pair, that would really hone Thrush/Sunrise's sarcastic side and fighting instincts and I can visualize their banter (like Thrush/Sunrise scolding Mothflame when she sees her putting on a front).

Spider and Mothflame are also equally interesting....ahhhhhh.



If you're offering both of them as mentors to either kit, then maybe Milkbee and Spider and Mothflame and Thrush/Sunrise?
