[P] The kits!

Poppybreeze was curled up inside her nest, tired.
Then there was a jolt.
"I think the kits are coming!" she yowled, only to be interrupted by another spasm.
Then a third.
Then a fourth.
"StarClan, help me!" she murmured, raising to a yowl as another spasm shook her.

And then a little kit plopped out; a gray tabby. They were beautiful. She seemed to have long legs for running and jumping.. what about Skykit? I'll ask Moonsoot after.

Next, after a few more spasms, came another kit resembling his father. He was a small grey tom. What about Sootkit?

Her train of thought was interrupted by another spasm, and soon after came a cream tom, just like her. I want to name this one. I like Finkit.

"Moonsoot!" she called. "They've arrived!"
"I was thinking maybe Skykit, Sootkit and Finkit," she meowed, pointing to each kit in turn. "Aren't they beautiful?"

Sootkit let out a tiny mew, sniffing the air around him. There were so many smells!

Sootkit turned his little head to a big as he opened his little eyes. She was the biggest cat ( and first cat) he had ever seen!

The queen nudged the kit's eyes closed, and then shuffled closer to Sootkit so that the kit could latch on to feed. She cast a quick worried glance to the other kits.

Finkit finally made a noise, mewing and dragging himself over to Poppybreeze for warmth.
