The Trees Speak: Imagine a forest where trees communicate and have their own history and tales to tell.

The cats belonging to this clan believe that their dead clanmates spirits sink into the ground and are then absorbed into a tree through the roots. They hold their burials deep in the forest to keep the dead close to the trees. Instead of StarClan they believe in 'The Drifted Leaves'

In the middle of RootClan territory there is a very old, very tall tree that has leaves growing in atypical colours, such as Purple and Blue. This tree is known as The Sky Tree as it stretches up to the sky. The Sky Tree is where they communicate with The Drifted Leaves in dire moments and where the Roots get their Leaves. [Leaves are the RootClan equivalent of Lives]

The RootClan Camp is situated under a large Oak Tree where they hold their meetings, called the Spoken Tree.

The Dens are made out of bushes woven into comfortable shelters.

The RootClan Territory is a decently large forest, centered around The Sky Tree.

Many birds and rodents live in the RootClan territory, and herbs grow abundantly around The Sky Tree. The cats of RootClan take this as a blessing from The Drifted Leaves.

MossRoot sat in the clearing, watching BirdSeed and NestSeed play while their mother, HeatherDust sat nearby, watching them. Those Seedlings would make wonderful Saplings one day, he could tell. Despite their father going missing, those Seedlings were still plenty happy.

NestSeed laughed, pouncing on his sister, BirdSeed. He bowled her over, pinning her underneath him. They would be Saplings by the next Moon. NestSap and BirdSap. They had to know how to fight! And.. And how to hunt! Mum had brought them live prey to hunt.. So they were pretty good at that one. This play fighting would teach them how to fight too. They would be super prepared when they become Saplings!

BirdSeed shrieked in delight and surprise as her brother, NestSeed pounced on her and pinned her down. She started batting at his belly, her claws sheathed, before shoving him off. Easy! He always thought he was big and tough, but BirdSeed was bigger then him. She normally just let him win to boost his ego.

The Darkly Colored Tabby Was Awoken By The Sun, Creaping Across The Sky In A Beautiful Distplay, Leaving Its Vibrant Color Down On The Clearing. He Rose To His Paws, Stretching His Legs Before Moving Out Of The Den With A Yawn. He Snagged A Peice Of Prey From The Pile And Sat On A Pink-Orange Bathed Rock. He Loved Awakening With The Sun.

MossRoot padded out to the territory to hunt.

He opened his mouth to scent the air before dropping into a hunting crouch and creeping forwards. He pounced, trapping a mouse beneath him and killing it quickly.

He buried the mouse to bring back to camp and continued hunting.

He soon caught a rabbit and another mouse before padding back to camp.

Mangrove will ask Moss when the seedlings will be apprenticed. She will also ask if she can steal FallenLog and HeatherDust to help gather herbs.
