Cherrywood had spent the night out of camp, likely talking to one of her many outsider friends. She was very rarely in camp unless neccisary, though as of late she had been sticking a little closer to camp.

Cherry gave an affectionate nuzzle to her friend's cheek before darting off. She found a place to clean off any outsider scent that clung to her pelt. Once sure she only smelled of Shadowclan she hummed softly, padding her way back to camp.

Upon arrival her gaze immediately shot towards the dwindling fresh-kill pile, despite a pang of hunger her thoughts went directly to perhaps arranging a little hunting patrol with a clanmate or two. Hmm. She scanned the camp, looking for a friendly face she could tolerate to go out with her.

Salmonshade was just trotting around the camp looking for something to do. The red fluff on the top of her head bounced up and down as she was walking. She spotted another warrior, who looked like they needed something to do. @seeingstars (sorry for the short reply)

The calico she-cat scowled, noting her half sister's presense. She didn't hate her, but she also felt no real famillial relationship, after all, it was her that ruined her parents relationship.

She sighed softly, forcing a smile as she approached "Oh! Salmonshade, My lovely sister" She said, her voice dripping with fake friendliness. She glanced around "I'm assuming you're not busy, would you like to go on a hunting patrol with me?" Cherrywood asked, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked on at her half-sister.

Salmonshade beamed. "Sure! I'd love something to do!" She purred. She knew her sister didn't like her much, so she always tried to build a relationship with Cherry. "Let's hope we find something good." She said. And this, was a perfect way to bond! She thought, putting a grin on her face. @seeingstars

Cherrywood gave a curt nod "perfect" she said, whipping around to exit camp once more only pausing to turn back "yes, hopefully. I haven't seen the prey this low in a while, on one paw it's good that Shadowclan is ever growing, on the other paw though, it means we have to do double the work" She said plainly.

The calico warrior padded out of camp, her blue gaze sweeping across the territory infront of her, pondering where they would go to have the best results. She hummed softly in thought trying to decide where they'd go "Where do you think would be a good place to hunt?" The Shadowclan warrior asked, tilting her head as she looked back at Salmonshade.

"Hmm. No idea." Salmonshade said. She didn't really care, as long as there was prey. Oh, how she loved hunting! "Is there a place you usually like to hunt at?" The warrior asked, the ball of red fur bouncing up and down on her head as they walked.

Cherrywood narrowed her eyes, annoyance flashing in her gaze as she nodded "Alright, follow me" She said, padding off in a random direction. The calico she-cat looked around, her ears perked as she listened and looked for any signs of prey.

After a bit of walking she stopped abuptly, her tail tip twitching as she scented the air. She caught the smell of squirrel upwind of her. She crouched down, silently creeping forward. Finally the squirrel was in view. She slowed down, stopping once she was close enough to catch it.

Her hips wiggled as she shot forward, leaping on the squirrel before killing it swiftly. She picked up the dead squirrel and padded back towards her sister, she burried it then nodded to her.

Salmonshade watched Cherry catch a squirrel. She sniffed. She smelt a rabbit close to them. She crouched, slowly coming into tall grass. Salmonshade saw the rabbit chewing on grass, the creature not knowing what was going to happen. As it looked away, she shot up and snapped at it. She padded back over to Cherrywood, showing her what she caught. The warrior buried it.

Cherrywood watched her sister closely through narrowed eyes. Good form, Good jump, Great catch. She at least was competent. A small smile crossed the she-cat's maw as she bowed her head to her sister "Wonderful catch Salmonshade!" She called out, her tail gently swaying behind her.

The Shadowclan warrior began to head closer when her head snapped around. She heard something. She sniffed, ah! a frog. The calico she-cat took off silently, her paws lightly padding over the ground. Once close enough she launched herself at the frog, skillfully killing it.

She brought it over, bowing her head to her half-sister "sooo" She said awkwardly after setting her frog down "Anything new in your life? We haven't really talked much... uh... lately" She said, her gaze shifting down to her paws for a second before rising to once more meet Salmonshade's
