Weepingpaw training

Hollytail awoke from his slumber, stretched and went to go find Weepingpaw. "Weepingpaw!" he called. "We're gonna go do some hunting training!"

Weepingpaw woke to his mentors voice. The blind tom streched his long legs and flicked his slightly longer than normal tail upwards. Not bothering to groom as he was a short haired cat, Weepingpaw padded out of his den immidetly. "Morning. Hunting training sounds fun" the tom purred gently. His eyes focused on his mentor as if he was really able to see him,

(Sorry for so late of a reply! With the recent meeting notice for Weeping, we should try and get the training done as soon as possible and yes ik it's a lil my fault for not responding but I was busy )

Hollytail nodded to Weepingpaw. "Let's go then" he mewed. He started padding out of camp, looking back to make sure Weepingpaw was keeping up.

When they arrived out in the territory, Hollytail turned to Weepingpaw. "We'll start with the hunters crouch. Do you how to do it?" he asked. He didn't know how far Weepingpaw was into his training so he would start with that and work from there.

Weepingpaw crouched on command, giving his best hunters crouch which he'd practiced plenty. the blind Tom gave an innocent blink before awkwardly standing up again.

Weepingpaw had had his nose on a plump smelling water vole, shooting his tail in the direction of the vole he looked at his mentor through sightless hues. "I'll go try and get it then?" The Tom mewed, waiting for permission.

Weepingpaw nodded, turning his gaze to the bird, he crouched and stalked forward, he scented the leaves, the hot smelling ones were crunchy, the humid ones were wet. Weepingpaw avoided the leaves skillfully, small scent of bark? A stick, strong scent? Approching a tree, if the scent was strong and humid? Wet tree, darker bark, better for Weepingpaw to blend into.
Weepingpaw stalked onto the wet bark, his scent and fur blending into the humidness. His scenting was as sensitive as a mole's. His earring was as sharp as a rabbit. The Tom scented the bird, there was a tree right beside it, if he jumped just lightly to the right he'd have a good swing. Weepingpaw leapt, landing right beside the bird and snatching it in his paws before he bit used his paw to break it's spine. Also blocking it's throat so it couldn't make a sound. Weepingpaw grabbed his prey and pricked his ears, looking to a trail he scented Willowpaw briefly, murmuring. "Willowpaw was here? When will I see her again? Dang it focus Weeping!" The Tom scolded himself before padding back.
