Favorite book from the entire series?
Hi! you've probably met me or seen me around so heres my question for you!
Whats your favorite book from the entire series of warrior cats? And your reasoning?
Ill go first!
My favorite book was "The darkest hour" and call me out all you'd like but heres my reasons!
(I dont like the "Tigerstar was born evil" concept, keep it in mind)
1. I love all the intensity in the book, i remember reading it for the first time and being so eager to continue the story.
2. It really captures all of TigerStars true plans and feelings about clans and power, showing how much a psycho tigerstar was a very good villain in my opinion
3. We really get to feel Firestars emotions throughout the whole book, they go so far into depth on how he feels on what he sees, especially with when tigerstar gets flipflopped.
4. I can just imagine bluestar secretly cheering like a football-fanatic when tigerstar was flooped

Re: Favorite book from the entire series?
Spoiler warning.
Anything from TBC, I feel like TBC is where imo Warriors really became a good book series again. While PoT is good, it doesn't hold up well compared to it's predecessors imo. And OoTS is just too repetitive.
I haven't read a lot of AVoS so I don't really know a lot about the storyline there. But I did read Shattered Sky, which is definitely one of the better books in that era in my opinion. Thunder and Shadow and Apprentice's Quest were good too, but Onestar ruined those books for me.
However, once I read Lost Stars, I definitely realized that the franchise was coming back to it's roots. The Silent Thaw was good too and had an AWESOME plot. Darkness Within I kind of remember thinking of as a stopgap book, even with the codebreakers. However, Veil of Shadows made up for that, that book is really good. The Place of No Stars is a book that not a lot of people seem to talk about, but trust me, it's definitely one of the better books in TBC.
However, there is one book that stood out for me COMPLETELY compared to the rest. That is A Light in the Mist. Yes, Bristlefrost died. Yes, there was a Great Battle follow-up. But also, it felt like Warriors really went back to it's roots with that book. It's so good.

Re: Favorite book from the entire series?
I continue to rep that the best Warriors novel was the first ever one, Into The Wild. This specific book is such an integral part of my identity that i re-read it every spring just because! Second is probably Bluestar’s Prophecy just because im a bluestar apologist and i have vivid memories of that book

Re: Favorite book from the entire series?
I have only recently started reading the series, so I have only read the first three books, but I think I am tied between "Into the Wild" and "Forest of Secrets".
I liked the story of "Into the Wild" more, but I did feel like the book was trying to set the world and its characters up a bit too wildly - pun fully intended - making it feel just a bit unfocused. It does have my absolute favorite character, Ravenpaw, be a pretty big focus, so that gives it extra points, but there are some clumsy bits here and there that felt off and I think had they been ironed out would have made for a much, much stronger book. As critical as I seem, mind, I did very much like the book.
