Salmonleap was at the border between RC and WC. He was sitting there, because it was very pleaseant. However, the last thing he thought he would see was a she-cat on the other side of the border, on the WC side.

Meadowpelt
Meadowpelt had been hunting near the RiverClan border to put her mind at ease. She wasn't happy that an apprentice had basically taken over the WindClan camp. Suddenly, she saw a tom staring at her from across the the river.

Salmonleap understood why she was stuttering. She was talking to a cat from another clan, generally considered wrong. "Well, I'm not gonna bite. There's nothing wrong with chatting." Salmonleap smiled. "It's not my general approach either. I'm more of a rule follower. But even I need to step outside the boundary a little. Nothing says we can't talk politely. That's a nice name, Meadowpelt."
