Crown: The leader (and their family) of the Atari and whose word is absolute law. They govern over the entire group and dictate traditions, beliefs, values. Though the Atari have a few sacred traditions, these can change at the discretion of the Crown and are expected to be upheld with the lives of those in the Atari. Claws: They have a natural-born ability for fighting and violence. Often at the forefront of battles and making up the majority of the group. Work well in teams as well as individually. They are expected to give up their life for the Crown. Additionally, they hunt for the group as well.
Trappers: Masters in the entrapment of various other animals; other cats, prey, predators, etc. They hone in on their skills of stealth and pragmatic thinking to create complex traps that render their victims immobilized until either the Claws or the Crown themself arrives.
Initiates: Those who are in training to become a Trapper or a Claw - or in rare cases, a new Claw of the Crown if the current Crown finds them more fitting than the current one. They participate in rigorous daily training and are tasked with upkeep of the Atari’s camp.
Keepers: Those who take care of the younger cats in the Atari. They are tasked with the enrichment of the younger Atari members and are responsible for overseeing their livelihood during the age in which they are too young to be made into either Claws or Trappers.
Young: Kits and newborns who are not old enough yet to become a fully-fledged member of the Atari. They are watched over by the Keepers.
Young to initiate: They will need at least 7 posts as a Young, and be at least 6 moons old.

To get an honour name: They will need at least 20 posts as a claw/trapper and then complete a trial overseen by Saturn. Once the claw/trapper has met the post-requirements they may come speak with Saturn about the trial.
Lore
Spirits aren't the souls of deceased cats. Instead, they are more like a collective deity watching over the Atari. The souls of the dead become part of the world, visiting as something like a frisky breeze or calming birdsong until they are forgotten and fully merge into the world itself.
Kits come from the spirits, specifically the sunrise, descend to the living world, grow as cats, and eventually die to be buried. Their life follows a path from the sky, to the earth, and then beneath it and into it.
Burials: The Crown, usually with the CotC, the deceased cat's family and loved ones, and any other willing cats, travel to the foot of the mountain at sunset to bury the body, leaving it to the earth. Births: Saturn usually lets the Keepers and Healers (if they are needed) handle births but wants to meet the kits (or at least know the amount and their names if the parents prefer no visitors) before the next sunrise, when the newborns are then announced to the Atari.
Patrols: Patrols go on a rotating system (ooc we'll just ask who wants to be sent on patrols and then randomly pick the rest like with clanpatrols), with Trappers being sent on hunting patrols (though on occasion accompanied by a Claw for safety reasons), Claws to patrol the territory, and both being sent on herb patrols and training patrols* by the CotC.
*Training patrols/classes, have a timeframe like regular patrols, and should also be reported back to the Claw of the Crown
Assessments: Once the Crown/CotC deems initiates ready, a to-be Trapper and to-be Claw will be paired up and sent out to survive in the mountains for three sunrises without returning to the Crag or interacting with other members. They will have to use what they have learned to manage on their own, and if they do and return on the third sunrise, they will be welcomed as a Trapper and Claw and announced to the clan. Both will be allowed to rest during the remainder of the day and will not have any duties, but are highly encouraged to stay awake the following night to self-reflect and also greet the stars, this time as full Trappers/Claws.
In Rp, the initiates will be given a prompt for each day, and both must make at least two posts each where they handle it before getting the next prompt/day.
Honour names: One's name is decided by their parents when they were born of course, but once someone has become a Claw/Trapper, they may undergo a trial overseen by the Crown, and if they pass they will be given an honour name referencing their abilities or character. This can be something like Truth Seeker, Thundering Roar, Star Reacher, Far Flight, or Sharp Tongue, to give a few examples.
Meetings: Each sunrise, if there are any news that need to be reported to the Atari, the Crown will climb onto a higher point and make the announcements. OOC these will work like clan meetings but ic they happen daily.

A large dark gray tom approaches you, his amber eyes gleaming with malice. "Prove your worth to Atari, or suffer," he snarls, lashing his tail. This is Crow, a 48 moon old member of Atari. He is a very strong and powerful tom, who isn't afraid to speak up against his own clanmates - even harming them if they did something wrong.
Crow is one of the most powerful and long-lasting Crowns Atari has seen, being fixed in his role for 29 moons out of his 48 moons of life. But what has he brought to the table in his moons of leading the group?
THE FEAST
Every full moon [or after a battle is won], Crow leads every able-bodied cat to the forest once the moon rises, and hunts. They kill everything and anything they can find, so long as it is not another member of Atari. Each cat must provide a minimum of 2 prey pieces to the feast.
Once the sun rises, the hunt ends and Atari takes their prey back to camp. The higher ups [and their family] grab their food first, then the keepers bring food to the Young. After that, Crow announces that the feast has begun, and it is an all-out brawl. Cats are allowed to share, fight and even kill for their food.
If a cat does not provide at least two pieces of food during the hunt or steal/harm a higher up or young for food, they get punished. The punishments range from not eating until the day after the feast to death.
THE VICTOR
Once a year [or when a season turns to another], There is a celebration in Atari, to either welcome a new season or to celebrate when the Long Claws were driven out. Crow makes this day a day of happiness and freedom, allowing members of Atari to do whatever they want and ignore the rules [unless it is a major one], and once night falls the group sits in the clearing to listen to Crow's stories about the driving out of the Long Claws [passed down from his ancestors].
THE SILENCE
The silence happens when a young or higher up member [or family member] pass. This is a day of grief and mourning. The passed cat is laid in the clearing, allowing cats to say goodbye. Once sun-high rolls around, the group takes grass, flower petals, moss, thorns, whatever they can find to cover the cat. The rest of the day is spent in silence as they mourn the passed cat. Once the sun rises, the higher ups give their good-byes before they get carried out to be buried. This does not happen for any other role, Only the young and Higher up [and family] members.
BATTLE TACTICS
When it comes to fighting, Crow likes to take a different, more... unique approach. This allows him to make sure the enemy never expects what is coming, and alternates between different styles
I. The Silent Assault
This is used at night, and involves 2 waves.
Crow takes his darker-furred and smaller cats to the front, that way they are less noticeable. The rest of the able-bodied Atari are behind, not too far from them. When the time reveals itself, Crow leads the Shadows [His first wave cats, due to their darker and smaller build blending with the shadows] to attack, taking them by surprise. Since it is a relatively small group of cats, He makes the enemy think that they are retreating after a bit, when in reality they are going to fetch the second wave. The second wave is made up of the rest of the cats who Crow did not pick as the Shadows, and they join in on the fight, ensuring surprise during the attack. This is Crow's favorite and most effective method of attack.
II. Scouting the Perimeter
This is used in daylight, takes 2 days, and involves 3 waves
Crow takes two groups of cats, ensuring that the two groups have 5 cats in them. Group one goes to the border, pretending to mark the border. Group two hides themselves, taking note of the layout and when the RiverClanners come by. After that, they return home and report their findings. The next day, Crow leads the attack using the information the groups found the day prior. The first two groups are stationed and told to act how they did the day prior, and when the time strikes, Crow launches into battle, leading Atari with them. This involves time and strategy, but pays off in the end.

Aster enjoys the spotlight, so long as she continues being praised the whole way, though if gold believes she messed up even slightly, she hates herself for it. As much as it wants to talk about her mistakes, she doesn't want to take the risk everyone forgot and she reminds them of it.
She wants to seem perfect and serve the Atari the best she can. The second gold's mentioned positively, she gets a jolt of happiness, like a dog. It seems to radiate joy after speaking to someone without being corrected, being stared at, etc.
She tends to rant a lot, which gold dislikes, thinking other cats dislike her for it.
Also, not mentioned in the traits part but she is violent when it comes to disagreements with cats outside the Atari. Within it, gold'll simply tell them to stop and if they don't, they get a whack. Not a big whack, just a tiny whack w no claws.

Detailed appearance: A thin feline with white fur along their front that fades to black along their back half. Their ears are black and they have some freckles dashing their face as well. Detailed: A large, muscular tom with ruffled dark blue-grey fur and pale blue grey spots on the lower half of his flank. He has a paler chest, paws, tail tip, belly and nose bridge. Darker accents dust his paws, muzzle, tail tip and lower flank. Harsh, dark sea-green eyes. An X shaped/diagonal scar signifies his rank.
Personality
Poseidon is an intimidating cat indeed at first look. He's got the look of a warrior who will crush you at any moment just because you looked at him the wrong way, though this might be true so much more lies within this rugged feline. To strangers he is a cat that craves blood and power with greed stronger than any other force. He will stop at nothing to achieve his ambitions, and he's no coward when in comes to having to fight for what he wants. Hardly anything fazes tom, that trait has both it's pros and cons. It depend son whether you're on his good side ot not.
However with the rest of the Atari, Poseidon is much more light-hearted. Loud, jovial an proud, he's an open book when around his Atarimates. He absolutely adores socialising and showing of his achievements while wooing any lady or gentleman he can! Fun-loving and social most of the time he can be seen as quite egocentric and arrogant by some as he only truly cares about himself. Those he captures with his charm our under his protection, not because he cares about them but because they are now his property and anyone who messes with his things get their neck snapped.
However, unnderneath Poseidon's mask of trustworthiness hides a horrible trait. Say one bad thing about him or do one thing wrong...he will go to the ends of the earth to strike them down. It's all silent for a few moments when he's angry before god-like fury is unleashed like a tsunami. Shouting, snarling, claws lashing out, this is what will happen if he is provoked. Thunderous growls and flashing fangs all directed at his now enemy. This bad mood often has fatal results so be warned...

Traditions
The Crown and family must always eat first
A tradition created as soon as Poseidon became crown, he decided he wanted first pick of prey every single night. Perhaps this is because of his greedy nature but when mealtime come around don't argue or it won't end well.
Festival of the mountains
A more light-hearted tradition made for the fun of the Atari. Once every year a week long festival is thrown, celebrating their group and the spirits. Games are played such as rock punt, cats try and bat a smooth rock into opposing "goals", and various quizzes. Competitions like sparing and prey catching are held too and the winner of each will hold a title! The festival ends with a huge feast and a night of stories.

On a normal day, Narcissus is bright and sunny. She’s always willing to offer advice to any youth who asks for it, always trying to come up with new ways to entertain the young ones, and always doing her best to keep the Atari life cycle moving along smoothly. That they are merciless. That they are cunning. Intelligent to the point of thoughtlessness. So, Vertigo. Where does he fit in in all of this? Well, nowhere. He is none of those things, actually, which is specifically why he decided to become a Trapper, in the hopes that he could create that kind of persona.
Ultimately, the kind of distance created by watching prey struggle in a trap as opposed to under one’s own claw was acceptable, he decided. Surely, it’s got to be pretty noble, right? Providing for the Atari and all that? Never mind the pained expressions of any unfortunate creature who happened upon his traps... At least, it was enough to allow him to fit in with his more blood thirsty peers to a reasonable extent. That being said, though, he is still rather uncomfortable with confrontation and does his best to diffuse any as quickly and as subtly as possible. It may grow difficult to maintain that sort of personality, though, soon enough.
