Moosekit mewed again, his tiny claws unsheathing. He continued to suckle on his mother, his Itty claws digging into the ground.

Willowkit raises her head at the sound of voices

Adderkit sighed. It was a cold morning, her chest ached, her throat was sore because of last night, and she hadn't been able to get a good night's sleep in three nights because of it. It was the cold's fault. Cold made it worse. And it was already more than bad enough.

Caterpillarkit bounced around the nursery.

It was strange, this place. Much different from what she knew, much different from all she'd seen. It was louder, much to her discontent, and it was busier, also much to her discontent. And why she was here, how she got here - it was all a blur, as though it was a dream she could see not not quite grasp.

Flutterkit, as they called her, always the quiet one, sat in a corner of the den. She pawed at some flowers in a nest she'd been assigned, idly watching the other kittens play. The long-furred feline didn't understand how they did it. And she had no care to understand, truthfully. Their rough banter and actions weren't for her.

Even so, that didn't mean that she was lonely here. No, no. There was Miss Starry, who'd found them, and 'them': the kitten with whom she'd been found. Apple and Rainbow and Dainty and Pink and Spike and Twilight. They were nice, and Flutter like nice. Flutter liked them.

She let herself lie down in the large nest after a few moments, and a cream-coloured tail came to lay over her cream-coloured nose. She was tired. Tired of all these new things, tired of all the loud noises, tired of all that she didn't know and the uncertainty; would they be staying here? It was frightening, all this, but at least she wasn't alone.

long furred lilac and white turkish angora with dark rimmed blue eyes || purrks: silk spinner

The pretty former kittypet sat in her nest, paws crossed in the most ladylike way possible, her black rimmed eyes darting around the nursery. This was nothing like her old house. She missed her soft, plushy bed. Her nice, dry food. The food here had fur and eyes and bones- it was repulsive! She also missed her nice, blue water bowl. The water had tasted so clean, not earthy and muddy like the water here. She didn't like this place. It would be insufferable without her friends.

Her eyes followed a small beetle as it crawled across the ground, entranced by it. How strange. She had never seen a BUG in real life before until she came here. There was so much new stuff, she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. She missed her old life. Daintykit would frown, but that would cause wrinkles according to her mother, and she would cry but that would dry up her facial fur and THAT would be tragic. Almost as tragic as the state of some of these cats- dirty children running amok, adults with scars and plants in their fur. They were terrifying looking. Their leader was even missing some of her body parts! Daintykit didn't want to end up like that. She wouldn't. So she would learn to be the best fighter- or at least the best defender- ever so she would never get hurt.

Eyes of crystalline blue darted around the nursery, spotting a few newborn kits (had she been that... stinky and lumpy when she was a kit? surely not...) and a few older kits. None of her friends, though, from what she saw. Yet. Sighing, she rested her chin on her paws, before lifting her head again and beginning to groom her fur compulsively for the fourth time that hour. She was bored, so she cleaned. her fur's upkeep was one of the only things she could control nowadays and she intended for it to stay like that!

StarKit was laying her nest and she was whimpering. She started to scream.

Deadkit was playing with a moss ball she found, she hit the moss ball with her tiny claws, then ran towards the moss ball imagining it was an enemy warrior "get out of my territory, I'm dead star, the leader of the Wind Clan", then bit the moss ball and shook it violently, after getting bored of playing with the moss ball, wagged her tail impatiently, "I wish I could fight in the battles like the warriors of my clan", she thought, she wanted to be an apprentice right then, but she knew that she had to wait a lot.
