Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: Piper is such a fun character and I really love the way that Rabbitpaw and Piper interact! She's witty and seems a bit "act now, think later" but I enjoy that about her and think it's fun! I can't wait to see Piper grow as she joins Windclan. That's not even getting into @/burntToast's amazing writing capabilities and how much I enjoy reading any of their posts, for Piper and for their other characters!

Why should this character be featured?: A bucket of sunshine and hope and positivity, Wisteriawren makes my heart happy with everything she does. She's a character who's bright smile and genuine interest she takes in others causes them to feel comforted and safe around her. Her innocense is refreshing and her optimism and desire to seek out the best in others is lovely to read. I absolutely adore her and can't wait to see more of her!

Why should this character be featured?: Loyal, dedicated, and down-to-earth, Stagheart first caught my eye in the battle training event Dusklion hosted. Immediately I was enamored with his charisma and his relationship with Berrypaw warmed my heart. He's a gruff dude but has a soft spot that reveals itself once he's comfortable enough. Squidz does a wonderful job showcasing the duality of a rough-around-the-edges-but-still-warm-at-the-center character and I love following Stag's journey. He's always up to lend a paw and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him. What a wonderful cat!

Why should this character be featured?: Mistyyyyy!!! Mistyshard is such a wonderful character, and she's been through a lot. She has come so far and is now in the role as RiverClan's medicine cat, and I know she will do amazing. She deserves COTM 100%, and I'm excited to see what the future has for her <3

Why should this character be featured?: Dawn is AMAZING!!! She's been around for so long and has just been unstoppable. She is just amazing in a way I cannot put into words. Her posts are amazing and I love reading them!! Dawnstar is lovely and I cannot wait to see what she does in the future, and I'm sure it will be awesome no matter what!

Why should this character be featured?: This apprentice is certainly one to remember! She's full of sass and has a determination to be the best and won't let anyone get in her way! She does things her own way and won't be bossed around easily! I absolutely adore the way Marigold writes her, she really captures her vivid personality! Can't wait to see more of this spunky Shadowclanner!

Why should this character be featured?: I love this guy so much! He has such a sweet, wholesome personality - an anxious cinnamon roll who's also super kind, friendly, and caring. His pledge of loyalty and friendship to Twistedpaw and his mental promise to punt anyone who tries to bully her into the sun (slightly overdramatized) despite his natural nervousness around other cats warms my heart. It's also cool to see a tunneler apprentice! They're not very common. Overall, though Vinepaw himself may be shy around other cats, he deserves more attention from the lovely members of WCO.

Why should this character be featured?: OMG. Honeychatter is such a fun and unique character, you guys. Buzz is super sweet, just like buzz's name suggests, but buzz is also incredibly silly! Her posts always bring a smile to my face. Whether buzz is being wholesome or funny or, most likely, both, I adore buzz. furrensic has such a unique style of roleplaying her, too! Honeychatter's posts are always distinctive and easy to spot. I could ramble about buzz forever, but all in all, buzz is a well-roleplayed character who I want to hug and be besties with at all times. She deserves more time in the spotlight!

Why should this character be featured?: I really enjoy reading Grousepaw posts, he's so fun! Whenever I see one I'm like omg... Grouse... and I have to read it right then and there. He has a confident, charming attitude without being stuck-up about it. In fact I'd say he's the opposite. They're also quite opinionated about the way the clans (especially Shadowclan) are run and it's interesting to see a cat with such strong beliefs that go against the crowd. A rebel with a heart of gold. I can't wait to see where Grousepaw's story takes him! EDIT: ALSO GROUSEMED?? TODAY?

why should this character be featured? ; berrypaw is absolutely just the sweetest little cat in the entire world. she was essentially thrown into the medicine cat role, but she and squid are adapting and adjusting incredibly well. she's an eensy weensy bit traumatized but!! it's okay!! because she still keeps on keeping on. she's very caring and she deserves the world <3

why should this character be featured? ; dusklion is simply the best. i love her and cobwebpaw's dynamic. to quote tal, they would burn down the forest for each other. she's caring, headstrong, and incredibly brave and deserves everything.

Why should this character be featured?: Raggedear is witty, funny, and energetic. He brings a sense of true warrior joy to the table and it's wonderful to see. He isn't overly pessimistic like most of the warriors in Thunderclan, quite the opposite actually, which is extremely refreshing to see! I'm excited to see where he goes from here and how Leopard develops him further!
