Streampaw looks at the ground, a flush rising to her cheeks.

She turns her gaze back to Roseraven, tearing her eyes away from the ground.

Roseraven didn't want to make her apprentice uncomfortable. She remembered her own years as a younger cat, always a little mopey and anxious, not knowing how to stand up for herself.

"It's okay! I'm sure it was useful to learn from experience. We can start from the beginning to refine your technique. Show me your best attempt at a hunter's crouch." she encouraged.

Streampaw

The apprentice takes a deep breath, sinking into a crouch. She shifts her weight to her haunches, gets down low, and lowers her tail, straightening it. She pricks her ears and slowly creeps forward, powerfully springing on a leaf with pinpoint accuracy. She sells herself short, she's an excellent hunter. She gained the experience from her time as a lost apprentice, having to hunt for herself for over six moons.

"Was t-that... o-o-okay?" She asks after a moment, her expression a mix of nervousness and curiosity.
