Okay, so he decided to rush his training! And BloomingBlaze had been fast and efficient as a teacher. She was nice to work with so he decided to scan the clearing, searching efficiently for the warrior until he had spotted her.

His tail swayed in excitement. This was really the last bits and pieces of his own training, then he’d finally become a warrior. All his beard work could finally pay off. 6 moons of training and he’d finally have a complete name! Hopefully soon. Very soon.

He dashed up to the warrior, more energy than he had in the past with climbing (which he somewhat enjoyed). “Hi! So-” he paused, trying to bring his fur a bit flatter and he tensed up. He wasn’t used to such sudden, uncalled for bursts of excitement and energy. He cleared his throat before continuing more formally. “I was wondering if- well- maybe you could help me with hunting? I get it if not since I’ve already bothered you enough with training-” he rattled on, not typical for him just showing his anticipation even more.

Oh, it was Spiderpaw!
Good to know.

"Sure kiddo!" She said as she stood up "Y're all good! Y're b'comin' a warrior soon, right? I'm good t' help ya finish up y're training!"
It was a guess based on his age, he was fully grown by now, and from what she could tell, Bristlethorn seems like a competent mentor, so she'd guess he's pretty well caught up at that age.

He nodded eagerly when the warrior acknowledged his upcoming warrior-hood. “Yup! Just turned 12 moons old!” he rumbled happily, starting to prance towards the exit of camp, holding his head and tail high and doing his best to push any anxieties to the side.

Okay, well, duh, Dawning Woods.
Bloomingblaze headed that way.

Once they had arrived at a good spot, she turned to Spiderpaw "'Kay kiddo, what's y're mentor told ya' 'bout huntin'?" She asked.
This was to know the knowledge she was working with.

“Well- BristleThorn and MudSlide both helped me.” he stated, pressing down on the ground into a crouch. He slightly lifted his tail up so it didn’t drag on the ground but didn’t hang high in the air. His ears pinned onto his head and he had his legs ready to spring and dart.

He really hoped his own demonstration was good enough for the warrior.

"That's perfect!" She chimed "They taught ya' well!"

Her bob tail twitched as she thought about what else to say. She was never the best teacher, always just straight to the point.
"You pro'ly already know t' stay downwind so th' prey can't smell ya'." She thought out loud "How bout' we try n' catch somethin'? If ya' want an example first, lemme know."

His tail hung high in the air as he heard the warriors praise. “Yup!” he confirmed. He was also sure that was common knowledge, right? Either way, he knew.

He hardly had to consider her offer for a demonstration. “I think I got this one.” he said confidently. He was decent at hunting, he got this.

He nodded, heading a bit deeper into the territory and scenting the air, grinning a bit as he caught a scent that was carrying towards him. Mouse right? Their sweeter prey…MudSlide went over this with him! He took careful steps closer before heading into a crouch, peering through a crevice in a bush until he spotted it. He kept his ears pinned and tail low as he got closed.

Ready…

Set…

GO!

He pounced over the bush, clearing it so the mouse didn’t notice him too early. He landed into the mouse, extending his claws and killing it instantly. He grabbed it and lifted his head, a mouse dangling from his jaw.
