The Crown now had his new watching spot. He had upgraded, instead of that stone he lounged on (which was still quite nice) he was on the much higher up Spire. He looked at camp and as much as he could see beyond it. Long-Fangs were his worst nightmare, the things he sought to destroy with ever bone in his body, but instead, the tribe he cared most about was being destroyed by one. That monster would be killed. And he intended to do it. Of course, any cat with common sense wouldn’t march up to the beast and expect it to die the second he laid a claw on it. He would bring the best of the best and murder the damned thing, but that spoiled, egoistical part of him insisted hi made the killing blow. That too it’s throat.
He had his share of accomplishments, his prized skull now decorating his den. He planned to do a quite a bit of decorating, not clutter though. It would be neat.
He really had to socialize, huh? To try and get respect from his Atari-mates and such. He made his way down from the spire and sat at the bottom, waiting as to see if any cat would approach him first.

The she-cat's fluffy white paws slowly glided around the camp. My goal for the day is talk to at least one Atari clan-mate Her eyes scoured the camp for someone to talk to. That's when she noticed familiar pelt. a lump started grew in her throat. He was so intimidating. She hesitated only for a moment she didn't want to bother him or anything, but the way they sat made her think that he might actually be the best person to talk to. Besides it wasn't her place to judge people just from their looks. Just because he looks intimidating doesn't mean he isn't a nice guy. The she-cat took a deep breath and stepped toward him. "Hello! Nice day, isn't it?" A simple smile started to grow on her face. This is my chance to grew close to someone again.

Ah, some cat did dare approach him, huh? His gaze landed on the she-cat that approached him. “Greetings.” he dipped his head to her in acknowledgment. “Yes- yes it is. A bit chilly in the mountaintops but…it’s quite alright.” he agreed. “Here, take a seat. No need for you to tire your legs.” he offered. Things…well…other than the disappearances, things hadn’t been going too wrong. He still wanted to kill that damned cougar…he’d get to it soon enough.
“Luck, right?…You’re a Trapper?” he questioned. He had good memory, and he’d spent quite a while observing the tribe when there was nothing to do and he was a simple Claw. Now he didn’t even know where to start.

She nodded in response to his invitation and sat beside him. Her fluffy white tail curled around her to help block the cold breeze. She furrowed her brow slightly trying to think of the last time they had spoken. It had been a while. "Wow, you have a great memory!You're... Ares, right? She feigned her uncertainty. Her smile turning bright at her obvious little joke."Me knowing your name isn't as much of an accomplishment."Maybe being so informal with the Crown wasn't such a good idea? She shrugged the thought away. He doesn't seem to mind. A sudden breeze caused her fur to fluff. "I usually enjoy the cold, but right now it's a little bit too much." The small molly shuffled her paws trying to get warmer. Then her attention turned back to him. "How about you? Do you like it warm or cold?" She wondered if the Crown would be bothered by simple small talk.

Was he Ares? Well of course he was, he had the scar to prove it and everything! If it was a different cat, one that meant the question to be offensive, he would’ve snapped at them. He could tell this cat was light-hearted however…she seemed kind. Reminded him of someone in his past, quite far back actually. He refused to think her name. Ever again. Instead, he’d focus on this interaction. It was going swell, no need to busy his mind.
“Sunny, warm days on the mountain are the plain best. Not overly-hot…just…cozy. Laying im that rock over there and simply soaking in the sun—” his fluffed up tail flicked over to his stone he always observed on until he was promoted. “—it’s the best. Clearly I don’t got much fur though to keep my warm.” he then indicated his own short pelt, all but his tail quite honestly. His tone was kind, even welcoming which he hadn’t felt much of recently. Mostly murderous, pitiful, and violent thoughts. A distraction was nice.

Her gaze floated around the rock. She remembered him often sitting there. It was a faint memory that brought up... others. She fluffed out her pelt again and turned back to their conversation. "I agree cozy weather is the best!" Their temperature for cozy might've been a little bit different. "I might have the opposite problem." With a flick of her tail she gestured to her own thick fur. Its density made easy for her to overheat. "And don't get me started about the rain." She shivered just thinking about. "The time it takes me to dry." drying time was also a reason she avoided swimming whenever she could. A small chuckle escaped her as joy spilled over her. She felt like she was actually making a connection with someone. Even if small. It had been a while.
