Sneezepaw grazed her ear with her paw, waiting for a particular cat named
Spiraltail. She let her mind wander about other things. Like when she'd be able to fish again, which didn't seem likely. She liked fish. They were predictable most times, and there were so many different kinds. The only kinds of squirrels she saw were gray, red, and brown. Mice... well, she couldn't really tell. They always scattered as soon as she even got close. Talk about difficult to catch! She released a sigh, grumbling under her breath. The mountain territory also threw her for a loop. She hated being high up, she hated that the only water they had was rushing too fast.
Why did
StarClan curse them with such a thing?
RiverClan cats were meant to swim, it was in the name.
Sneezepaw calmed as she told herself she wouldn't be able to fix it no matter how much complaining she did. And complaining didn't help anything. If not, it only made things worse.
Current example,
Sneezepaw's ears were folded and her fur on end. A hate for such a thing wasn't much like her. But the new territory was bland, colors meshing together like blurry figures. It was all muddied, unlike anything in her daydreams. It almost tortured her to know such a beautiful thing existed when all she saw was mountains, trees ...
trees ... and nothing like the beautiful, rippling water in the old territory. The water often reflected the sky, and when the sun set or rose, she couldn't help but marvel at it.
Sneezepaw cast a quick glance around, still waiting on
Spiraltail.
