Hey, everyone :-)

As you may have noticed, there's been quite a stir among characters concerning a potential standoff between RiverClan and the other three clans.

However, there's been a misunderstanding regarding RiverClan's decision to prepare for battle. Unless characters had been roleplayed listening to the leaders' conversation at Seastones as it was actively happening, no one in RiverClan should be aware of the meeting that was held, nor of the upcoming attack. This means that any preparatory actions taken under the awareness of an impending 3v1 battle wouldn't be possible — characters wouldn't have that knowledge!

Our team understand the confusion, and we hope this post helps clear things up. We'd also like to take this chance to kindly ask that posts with unrealistic knowledge about the meeting / attack be removed or edited before May 26 at 11:59 PM ET. These posts are considered powerplay, which is against our guidelines, so leaving violating content up may result in user action.

It sounds like there was some confusion with the above announcement! Have no fear, Bear is here.

The "meta" aspect of RiverClan's roleplay has been the knowledge three Clans will be attacking them. RiverClan leadership has missed the aspect of Twilightstar talking to the other leaders and has not communicated with one another IC to pass this knowledge on; nor does the Clan have a reason to believe ThunderClan and ShadowClan both will be ganging up on them with WindClan. ShadowClan and RiverClan have not been at odds for several years at this point and ThunderClan has kept a distance from RiverClan for a couple months. While relations with these Clans aren't great, it's a stretch to assume they'll be directly partaking in a raid on RiverClan when RiverClan hasn't continued to garner their ire.

That being said, it is not unreasonable for RiverClan to prepare for solely a WindClan attack. Twilightstar made her intent to make RiverClan pay very clear, so preparing for a raid -- or other forms of warfare from WindClan -- is fine. Additionally, Twilightstar has driven a Clan out of their home for a couple moons before - for those who weren't around then, she did this to Icestar when ShadowClan pushed her buttons too far! This is knowledge publicly available to characters, and RiverClan can use this to fuel a concern Twilightstar will repeat history and punish them similarly. Therefore, evacuation plans can be made on the off-chance this happens.

All we ask is you remove mentions of it being a 3 v 1 invasion. General raid discussion as long as it is non-specific or about WindClan is fine!
