Now that he and Sweetsong were living alone, it was time to actually rely on themselves for food. What they'd eat, Crow had no idea. After all, he was used to simply taking something from the prey pile back in ThunderClan. But he didn't know what Sweetsong ate in RiverClan. Fish, but that was the obvious choice. Did they eat squirrels? Mice? Rabbits?
I suppose I can just hunt for us... and then I'll ask. I probably should have asked prior to me leaving, but I've never had to live with a RiverClanner- ex-RiverClanner- before.
Crow set off at a brisk pace to nearby hunting grounds that he and Sweetsong collectively decided would be their main source of food. He was almost there when he caught a scent that he's not yet been able to forget.
ThunderClan... and I know I'm not smelling my own pelt. Not so long after, Crow heard the footsteps of the approaching warrior, then a voice. A voice he did not recognize.
"Did Bumblestar send you? 'Cuz if she did... I'll be dropping your body off at the border. Show yourself and explain why you're looking for me. Now..." He let out a low growl and braced himself for an attack in the event whoever was trying to find him did want to shed blood.
