THRUSHFRECKLE

Thrushfreckle was seeking guidance on being a tripod. And he wasn't sure how to, considering the only other tripod in the Clan was Vixenpaw. He sighed, placing his head on his paws with the thought of wanting to get help with being a tripod circling through his head. The sandy brown tom quickly fell asleep.

He woke in a clearing, and he was quite startled. He had fallen asleep in the warriors den, how was he here? "Hello?" Thrushfreckle could hear his own echo, that's how empty the place was. He thought he saw a flicker of a dark brown tabby pelt, but that easily could have been a shadow.

It had been a long day. After the fit that he threw and Mudhound comforting him, the young tabby could catch up on some much-needed sleep. As the medicine den slowly dimmed to the setting of the sun, the tom watched as the light faded completely, leaving the den dark. The tabby laid down his head and closed his eyes, letting himself slip into the darkness of sleep.

When he awoke in his dreamscape, he had all of his legs. All four of them. The young tom ran, feeling the wind ruffle his fur. He let out a happy yowl, glad that he could run like nothing could stop him. He stopped, seeing Antfluff appear in front of him. "M-Mama?" he stuttered, taking a step forward to his mother. "You're a monster and a disappointment, Wolfpaw. Get out of my sights," she growled as the world swirled into pure black. Then, he fell into descending darkness, his leg missing as like the real world. Tears streamed down the apprentice's eyes, a glowing circle of red forming above him. Wolfpaw landed with a thud against the blackness. He opened his eyes, green hues staring into pure black. Nothing was there. Except Wolfpaw. All alone. Just like the real world. Slowly, The blackness transitioned into a clearing, grass and everything.

The young tom heard another voice, an echo. He scampered to the nearest shelter, crouching down as green hues lay on the strange cat. Another tripod, just like him. But this cat had so many scars - not even the most seasoned ThunderClan warrior had scars like those. "H-Hello?" he squeaked in return, keeping himself hidden.
