Thrushkit kept in the close comfort to Lionflop. Somehow, at some point in time, Thrushkit had silently agreed to a friendship with this warrior. Though most could hardly call it a friendship ... Lionflop was 2x... no! 4x... no! At least 6x the size of him! With this there was a... appreciation? NO! That wasn't it. Admit? Admira? Admiration! Yes, that sounded right! There was an admiration he felt towards Lionflop. A respect that not even some cat as juvenile as Thrushkit wanted to rid himself of in some stupid way.

Despite his previous encounter, he was standing steady on three legs. He would still wince occasionally, as his injury hurt. He would have to get it checked out soon. Though that thought chilled him. Thrushkit wasn't the fondest of herbs. He'd heard stories of deathberries! He wasn't going to risk his trust in some cat for it to end up awful, no no!

"That cat was so mean,"

Was all he could utter.

Thrushkit was more than applaud... apal? Appalled! Yes, that was it. He felt like he was grasping these words more and more! Which was good, if he wanted to become a well-accustomed apprentice. That word ... apprentice ... made his spine chill. Thrushkit would be an apprentice... soon enough, as soon as he turned six moons. He would make EXTRA, EXTRA sure not to get in trouble. He'd already had a scuffle ... if one could call it that, outmatched ... and didn't want to get into another any time soon. And he didn't have to worry! His buddy Lionflop was so brave ... and could probably crush a warrior, yeesh! ... and amazing... Thrushkit realized, again, just how much he really admired him. Lionflop... even the name sounded something of respect! Lion's, to his knowledge through dramatic elder stories he'd maybe heard once or twice, were fierce, territor.. territorial! Yes, that was it. mammals with cool, fluffy manes. And Lion's flop, to him that would be world-ending! Bone-shattering, teeth-chattering, the list went on and on...

"Why do you think Sliver... whatever his name was! Acted like that?"

He got cold thinking about it. No cat, he'd seen at least, had treated any clanmate like that. Let alone someone of a higher rank... someone in authority. Thrushkit didn't get too deep into that thought, he didn't like it! So he'd push it away. ONLY because it was irrelevant to him.
