Seabreeze's No Good, Very Bad Day [P]

Seabreeze was having a day today. It had started as it always does, wake up gasping from the same drowning dream he's had since the raid, scrape together the pieces of his frazzled mind enough to get himself out of his nest, get breakfast then work. Though his wounds he had gotten during the raid, especially the ones along his chest and his tail ached more than normal. Nothing terribly bad that he couldn't handle, because he would have to handle it anyways. Mistyshard was already probably stressed enough with her new position and Seabreeze needed to be a pillar of strength for Riverclan, a leading example, not wasting herbs over little aches. He shook out his fur and ate his mouse quickly, ignoring the nausea that built up at the actions.

From across the clearing he heard his name called for a patrol and he padded over. A herb patrol with Mistyshard, Dusklion, Cormorantpaw, and Spottedstream. Wow, that was a lot. 5 cats for one patrol? Two Lionhearts, and an ex lionheart. Oh, they were heading near the outskirts border, that made a bit more since given all the activity they have gotten from outsiders lately but still it seems a bit excessive, he wasn't going to say anything about it. His mind was too muddled and felt too sluggish to really make any good points. The cats all gathered and the patrol made their way through the territory, with Seabreeze feeling more and more bad but pushing through it.

Hopefully, this would be a smooth patrol, and even if it wasn't they had cats that didn't usually stir up too much trouble and were all talented and could likely deal with it in moments. Come on Seabreeze! He gently bapped at his own head with a paw after he stumbled a step pretty bad, he needed to focus. But why did it take so much focus to keep walking. It was so simple. Though his whole body burned but felt too cold and it ached and at times he felt distant. How annoying, he swiped a quick lick over his chest to try and soothe the burning only to rear back at the sour taste on his tongue, why?
