Mimic's stolen den [NOT OPEN]

A den with moss all around, soem bones scattered across the ground from old prey. There are fresh footprints on the ground in it. Oen side of the den has nests, while the other has a little herb storage and barely any prey.

Odds are miss, even is a catch!
Mimic watched Owlblaze step inside. "Alright kiddo. I'm gonna go get us soem prey. I might be out for awhile. I'll try to stock up so we don't have to leave as often." He stepped out of the den and wind whipped at his face. He started to walk around, sniffing the air. He caught a scent of rabbit and stalked it. His Lazer eyes bared into it, waiting for the perfect moment.[Rolled a 4!] He pounced on the rabbit and grabbed it by the neck. He buried it and would come back for more. The scent of a vole caught his nose. His mouth started watering. He walked until he found it. He crouched and then pounced. [Rolled a 3] The vole saw him and ran off. Darn it. He needed atleast one more piece of prey. He sniffed and smelt a mouse. He slowly stalked it. And then..... [Rolled a 6!] He pounced on it, killing it. He went back to the rabbit, the mouse in his mouth. He grabbed the rabbit and ran back into the den. "I've got food!" Mimic said to OwlBlaze after dropping it. @Crown_Sage

Owlblaze squeaked excitedly. He had only ever tried fish. What is that? He meowed to mimic. Not only had he never tried it, but her had no idea what it was. He bounded over, sniffing the prey cautiously.

Mimic chuckled. "This one's a rabbit." His tail pointed to it. "And this is a mouse kiddo." His tail swished over and hovered ontop of the mouse. "I'll let ya try both, but don't eat all of it!" @Crown_Sage

Owlblaze instantly went and took a bite from the rabbit, seeing that it was bigger. It's yummy! He mumbled, through a mouthful of the rabbit. Hey, umm. Oh, mimic. He paused, tilting his tiny head. What's a kiddo?

Mimic watched him try the rabbit. "Oh uhm a kiddo is...." What even is that question? Just.. wow. "It's a nickname for someone young. It's what I'll call you." @Crown_Sage

Owlblaze nodded. Oh. The silence was getting the best of him, voices and memories flooding into his head. The day his mother died, the day his littermate died, the day his father scarred him. He squeezed his eyes shut, tensing up his muscles and twitching his unhurt ear. He wriggled his nose, drawing in the unfamiliar scent of the new den, new cat, new food.

"You okay? Go lay down. You need rest." Mimic said worriedly. He went over to one of the nest and gestured Owlblaze over. "It's gonna be cold." @Crown_Sage

Okay. Owlblaze nodded, though he doubted it would fix anything. What about you? He meowed. Was mimic going to stay in the cold, by himself?
