At least Beekit had an easy problem! Wolfpaw gently flicked his tail toward their ear with the intent to tickle it. "You'll be an apprentice soon enough! Enjoy kithood while you can, being an apprentice is hard work and you'll miss these carefree moons." To some extent, even Wolfpaw did - but he was glad to have the experiences he did, because it meant now that he was older he could do his best to protect others like Bumba protected him. [ @leader ]

Alpinekit was a different matter altogether. "I know it seems scary. Heck, when I was your age I couldn't even imagine fighting.. but being a warrior isn't just about fighting. A warrior is a provider for the Clan. You give us safety during threats, but most of the time you're hunting, training, and doing patrols to make sure nothing bad will endanger your Clan-mates. When you do fight, it's not because you want to - but because you need to stand your ground and make sure those with mean intentions won't hurt anyone else." [ @Highsnow of Matterhorn ]

Pebblekit rolled around the nursery.

Wolfpaw purred toward Beekit. "It is, but it's worth it. For now though, have fun and enjoy yourself."

It was hard for him to get into the mindset of someone with malice. Wolfpaw didn't consider himself mean, he was just willing to do whatever it took to ensure the safety of his Clan-mates. "Well, sometimes it's because being violent is how they have fun. And sometimes, it's just how we survive. A hungry fox will kill and eat a cat because the cat is made of meat, and the fox needs the meat to survive. Another Clan will attack and hurt us 'cause they want our resources, and they don't care about sharing."

"'Course, if you got anymore concerns you can come to me." Wolfpaw glanced at Beekit in confusion when Beekit repeated himself. He wasn't sure what was going on with that, but it seemed like their problems were resolved for the time being.

He yoinked a chunk of moss free from his pile and batted the ball their way. "Go ahead 'n have some fun, I'm just gonna clear out some of these nests and replace the bedding."

Regardless of what they did, Wolfpaw would take his remaining moss and start replacing the older beddings. Once everything was spiffy and good as new, he waved his tail toward the duo in farewell before departing.

Alpinekit's lower half shook before she pounced on the moss-ball. Whoosh! The moss-ball was being nipped by Alpinekit.
