Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Members who have nominated a character will have their username added to a raffle at the end of the nomination period. Three lucky members will be rolled by the staff team and receive 2,500 Koins! Previous winners will be eligible to win again after three months.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: where do I even start?? mistlewhisker is an amazing character in general. she's exactly the character I think of when I think of shadowclan — tough, no-nonsense, and loyal. mica writes her wonderfully, I get so immersed in each of theirs that I read. I think possibly my favorite part of mistlewhisker's character, other than just her being awesome in general, is her deep, dark secret...she loves kids LOL. mica shows this in a wonderful but subtle manner through mistlewhisker's interactions with apprentices.

Why should this character be featured?: Dusklion is such an amazing character who tal writes in a really lovely way. Dusk posts are always enjoyable to read and her character is super well portrayed. I love the way Dusklion is super dedicated to Birdsnow and doesn't let anything get in the way of that.

Why should this character be featured?: I love Yellowpaw so much!! Shoomy does an amazing job writing him and it's really interesting to see his story unfold more over the course of rps. At first he may just be seen as a grumpy, closed off ShadowClan cat but there's so much more to him. Super excited whenever I see a Yellowpaw post!

Why should this character be featured?: he's a wonderful character! he's enjoyable to talk to and the drama this cat gets into is insane, but even though he's nice and all he can be terrifying when he stands his ground and is certainly a cat you don't want to mess with. love to see more of him!

Why should this character be featured?: Palepaw is super cheerful, and no matter what Yellowpaw thinks, I love her for it! Reading her posts makes me feel happy which has kept me alive for the last two days when I
was keeping an autistic (that's not a bad thing, to specify) 4yo alive alongside babysitting an 8yo, which I am super greatful for! I wish she had infinite posts

Why should this character be featured?: As you can see, I'm a sucker for friendly characters. I don't know why, but Sweetsong is just an awesome character and basically Fallenwish's best friend and sister.

Why should this character be featured?: Kitsune does a amazing job with Lightningstorm, the personality is amazing, I enjoy seeing lightningstorm take care of the injured cats, I love how lightningstorm eases the scared kits [such as mine] and be able to help them, Absolutely amazing!

Why should this character be featured?: Moonraven does such a fantastic job on Twilightstars roleplay, I love Twilightstars personality of being strict while also kind, the way she handles Outsiders joining is amazing, I consider Moonraven my biggest HR model!
