Echopaw gleefully followed her mentor out of camp.
Oh stars, I'm gonna be a warrior soon! If- If I pass my assessment. Which I have no doubt that I will! Okay, so all she needed to do was catch 3 pieces of prey before moving on the the next part of the assessment. A sparring match. Well, she had to do the hunting part first.

Glee coursed through Echopaw as the scent of prey was quite abundant. She went off in a direction, keeping her stomach low to the ground, before finding a sparrow perched on the ground, pecking at some insects. Echopaw rushed towards the sparrow, but stepped on a leaf, scaring the sparrow off.
Damn it!
Echopaw sighed before continuing along the path, finding a mouse. This time, Echopaw made sure to check for anything that would reveal her location to the mouse. She softly crept towards the mouse, before charging towards it and quickly killing it. She buried the mouse and propped a stick in the ground so she knew where it was. Smelling and tasting the air, she noticed a squirrel sitting in a tree. Echopaw climbed up into the tree, keeping quiet, before killing the squirrel. Echopaw jumped down from the tree, and headed back to the place where she buried the mouse, and buried the squirrel next to it.
That's two down, one more to go!
Echopaw had to walk a bit to find the next bit of prey, which was a shrew nibbling on something. She stepped on a twig, but managed to catch the shrew before it could escape. Echopaw went back to the place the rest of her catches were buried, and unburied her prey, carrying them back to Risingstorm with a pleased expression on her face.
