Things had been a bore since the lockdown, at least on the camp-side of things - so Wolfhive decided to liven up some of the Clan's tracking techniques with a simple game. "ThunderClan, if you want to participate in a scavenger hunt gather around!"

He'd give everyone a short moment to. "I've hidden a variety of pebbles from Sunkissed Creek around camp. Some of them are shiny, some of them are not - your goal is to find as many of these pebbles as possible! The cat who obtains the most points will get an excursion out of camp with me, unless you're a kit, in which case we'll figure something else out." Apprentices, sure he'd give them an escort, but kits were too high-risk and Wolfhive didn't want anything bad happening to them. He didn't want to imagine how angry his 'ma might be if she found out he took some kitten out and they'd been eaten. Ooof. "You can start the hunt.. NOW!"

-- How This Works --

• Your cat has been tasked with finding pebbles!
  
  
• Dull pebbles are worth 1 point; shiny pebbles are worth 2.
  
  
• I will be determining if your cat finds a pebble via a number randomizer; if the number is EVEN, they'll find a pebble; and a re-roll will determine if it's dull or shiny. Until my roll post, please do not determine what your cat has found - this is to keep things fair and prevent folks from getting shiny pebbles every time!
  
  
• As long as your cat tries to find something in your post, this will count for the scavenger hunt bingo; as long as you post by tomorrow (9/1 11:59pm Eastern Time) you'll get credit for it. You can also use one of these pebbles to gift another cat for the "cool rock" bingo!
  
  
• I plan on posting rolls daily as-possible, but this event will only last to 9/4 @ 11:59pm Eastern Time so it doesn't drag on.
  
  
• The winner [UNLESS YOU'RE A KIT] gets an out of camp excursion with Wolfhive (we can come up with a lil plot too for it!) and also 5,000 Koins. For those unaware, ThunderClan is under LOCKDOWN and cats cannot leave camp without a Hornet escort or authorization from a Hornet / the high ranks - so this gives your cat an opportunity to chill outside camp for a bit! Participants will get 1,000 Koins.
  
  
• Kits can participate and possibly win, I just haven't determined a IC reward for them /shrug. If it comes up we can figure something out!

Goldenkit stepped up curious. This could be fun. He hopped into action searching around the clearing. He wasn’t very great at finding things but he thought he’d try his best. His eyes eventually found something. It was hard to see at this distance, so he stepped forward for a closer look. Is that a pebble? His paws moved excitedly toward it. I really hope this is a pebble! He smiled happily. Even if he never found a pebble he would still be able to say he had fun.

Basilkit was licking her paw, still trying to keep balance until she heard wolfhive's voice, she fell over, it scared her as she hit the ground so she bounced up and three little paws padded across the clearing to wolfhive. "Scavenger hunt? really?!!! IM FINDING A SHINY ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!" Basilkit ran off in excitement, looking around the clearing, knocking over cats as she ran because she was so desperate to find a pebble, especially a shiny one! She looked around and found something clear, she didnt know what it was but it was sharp. very sharp. she walked around it and got back to running.

She reached a big oak tree and looked around it, sniffing even though she didnt know what pebbles smelt like, but she sure did want to know what it smelt like, she was going to because she was going to get sweet victory!!!

Pebble hunting? Really? That sounded terribly boring, and quite childish to boot. Also, Brindlepaw hadn't been feeling the best lately, and didn't particularly want to charge around camp chasing little rocks with a bunch of excitable kits and kit-apprentices. Though he supposed most of them would almost be apprentices now anyway. But then he heard the potential reward. And man, was he paying attention now. He had a hornet for a mentor so he could sort of go out whenever he wanted, but also he couldn't because Redhawk, though slightly more active, wasn't exactly up and at it everyday. But if he WON, he could make Wolfhive give him a fighting lesson while they were out. He must be good at fighting, if he was a hornet. Now set on his course Brindlepaw hauled himself to his feet, sniffing twice so he could breathe more freely before ambling in the direction of the warriors den. It would just.....make sense to have hidden these pebbles around its base and in its walls, so he got to work combing the area right away. There were lots of little round things, but a lot of them, upon further inspection, were turning out to be lumps of dirt which crumbled when touched. Oof. (open?)

Scavenger hunt? Really? He needed to get out this camp! Cypresspaw would give this his all. “I’m in, wolfhive!” he called, immediately dashing off to look for the pebbles. This is so exciting!

So you roll and then determine if cypress finds a rock and if it’s shiny or not now? @BEAR.

Scavenger hunt!! Shiny pebbles and rocks, the possibilities of what they could unearth had Beachpaw’s attention instantly, and finding them . . . it was like looking for treasure! Treasure that they KNEW was around too, so it didn’t seem like a boring fruitless chore. This was an adventure.

“All right! Let’s go!” They were an excited little bee, and quickly embarked on searching for the fabled gold: hidden rocks.

The large she-kit had thought,
and the very thought of even finding a pebble and getting points made her feel so exited,
like she could find the biggest catch in the forest!

”Oh yeah, I’m totally gonna win!!!”

Maplekit ran off, 100% sure she was going to win and get a huge prize.
Her bushy tail flicking like she was some sort of squirrel.

she thought, skittling over to the fresh-kill pile as fast as her paws would take her,
‘I bet a pebble is over here!!’
She had already started rummaging through the Fresh-kill pile.
