yo! i've been tossing up bringing back moth for awhile now, she was one of my first characters, and after coming up with my newest kiddo aspen i just felt like it was the perfect opportunity. since she'd not been properly active for.. OVER 2 YEARS???? awhile, heres a little run down on her and the plot!
- Former shadowclanner -> ran away as an apprentice
- Elmshadow + Cougarivy kiddo
- Born early january-ish 2022, so approx. 34 moons old
- Her old references can be found here, here, and here. Height wise shes short iirc.
- I originally intended her to be a super bouncy and sweet kid, but uhh, Elmshadow happened, so she ended up a bit more reserved, but unafraid to speak her mind
- She lives alone in a small abandoned farm, plus theres a, still slightly working, water wheel.
- I've always sorta thought of her as a little cottagecore lesbian, so do with that what you will
Pretty much: A massive storm rolls through the valley where Moth lives, the river swells, carrying debree and rubbish down from the twolegplace. Clinging to a floating rubbish island are four little kits. Barely a moon old, at most. Moth goes and rescues said kits, takes them to her farm for shelter, and looks after them for a bit. Once the kits settle a bit, she takes them out to look for their parents in the city, however this search ends up with the group discovering that their mother had drowned in the flashflood.
Moth couldn't just leave them to fend for themselves, so instead she ends up taking them in as her own.
okayyy i think that should do it; if you have any questions plot wise vm me. As for the applications, theres a little bit to get through so bear with me lol.
Appearances:
Honestly? Go nuts. I'll be deciding the mothers appearance after the kits have been selected, that way you have more creative liberty. However, theres already one kit (aspen) that has an appearance, so if you're really stuck appearance wise you can use her as a start. Aspen is a lithe grey tabby, with a small orange tuft on her chest, kinda like a little flame, she has green/brown eyes.
Names:
Moth would probably not name them anything that reminds her of her kin or her past, so names such as elm, cougar, fox, shadow, frost are a no from her. She also wouldnt name kits anything violent, or gross, so things like blood, claw, stinky and such are also probably a no.
Names that she would like are nature based ones, and ones that have softer imagery, similar pebble or fern.
Clans:
Moth wouldnt tell her kits directly about the clans. She might tell stories about groups of cats called clans, but they would end in the destruction of the clans or them being passed off as nothing but a kits tale. In the future, if her kits decided to join a clan, Moth would not encourage it, but ultimately let them choose.
