Dewpaw looked around for her mentor in the camp, searching for her trainer. Although she cannot see very well, she wants to train. She's afraid of being attacked again. She does not want to be attacked again.

He spotted the young she first, padding calmly up to her and nodding his head kindly in greeting. “Hey DewPaw! I’ happy to be ‘raining ya now!” he has been considering, and he figured he’d just get the difficult out of the way. Personal delays. “So- in our raid, I sus’ained a jaw injury in our a’ack (attack), causin’ my speech to be a lil’ bit messed up mos’ the time. If ya need me to repea’ anythin’ just ask, alrigh’?” he offered the younger cat. He knew it was a difficulty, and it had been getting worse over time. “From wha’ I’m aware of, I hear ya got ca’arac’s (cataracts). I plan on doin’ my best to learn how t’ train ya so ya vision won’ be a issue.” he offered the apprentice. He would truly do his best.

Dewpaw turned to greet Rowanmane with a big smile. All she could see was a blurry figure. Something about him felt safe, soothing. She quite enjoyed this feeling, it was better than constantly worrying. "Thank you so much! I will try my best as well!" She stumbled slightly as she walked over, She took in his scent, trying to memorize it. She needed to do better, she needed to learn the scents better.

I’ll teach ya how to swim, or at leas’ be sturdy in water”

Dewpaw nodded. "Sounds great. If I do start to drown, please pull me out." She joked. It was.. not in great taste. "That was a horrible joke, I apologize." She offered a smile, "Swimming sounds great. I never got to it in my training before I had gotten lost. Doesn't seem to hard, really. But with my eyesight and all.. Who knows."

Dewpaw nodded, "Alright!" With that, she prepared to follow after Rowanmane. She already liked this cat, she generally was fine with her own clan's cats. But Rowanmane, a patient and kind soul. He understands her well, at least she thinks so!

He was careful to keep a slower pace, just to make sure that the apprentice could keep up with him. He had just the spot in mind picked out for training. It was a pretty calm stream. He didn’t think he had ever witnessed rapids there, and depending on where a cat was standing, it either just got your paws, or it went up to RowanManes shoulders. It was great for training!

She followed after, sticking close to him. It was a lot easier to see him from all the other blurry figures. Just his scent. She looked at the water. She had to figure out how to do this. So she took in the smell of the water as well as the feeling of the ground. Different textures. She could see the water, yeah. But what if she got worse? She shook that thought from her mind, looking over to Rowanmane.
