Welcome to the Skyclan Medicine Den!

Are you in need of healing? Wether it be sickness, injury or perhaps even your physiological health the medicine cats are always here to help!

@Apollo.'s Lichenfur is Skyclans current medicine cat, with @jupiter's Nectarpaw as his apprentice. Lichenfur is comfortable in his position and is not currently looking to replace Nectarpaw or looking to take another apprentice, so we ask that you please refrain from requesting to become the medicine cat/medicine cat apprentice, as this might also lessen your chances in the future.

Lichenfur might have Nectarpaw help out with healing so that she can gain the experience, however, if you wish for her to not help with healing your injured kitty please say so in the "other/questions:" section in the form!

Healing Guidlines

- Lichenfur will assist in kittings upon request, however I ask that you please fill out a healing request rather than just mentioning me.
- If you want your cat to have a long term plot in the medicine cat den please pm me about it beforehand, and keep in mind that there is a possibility that I may decline.
- Lichenfur has a semi-open den policy, meaning that if your cat shows up unannounced he will not turn you away but I ask that as soon as possible that you submit a healing request.
- If it is urgent, there is no need to wait for me or @/jupiter to accept your healing request, although I would prefer that you do.
- In the event that a large scale battle or clan wide sickness you do not need to submit a healing request, in that case I would've put up a healing thread specifically for that and you can just show up

Therapy/Mental Healing

The medicine cats don't only provide physical healing, as a cats mental health is equally as important. Currently Lichenfur is the only cat who can provide this kind of support, as Nectarpaw is yet to be taught how to deal with this sort of healing. Please note that neither I, Lichenfur, Nectarpaw nor jupiter are licensed mental health professionals or therapists, so if you are struggling personally I advise you to seek out professional assistance. On top of the normal healing guidelines, there are a couple extra things to keep in mind for this healing;

- If you go in depth in their trauma or traumatic experiences please place it into a spoiler with the correct CWs (content warnings) in the spoiler title, this includes their personal thoughts.
- Please be respectful when describing things, as some experiences might be similar to those that people on wco have dealt with before
- You can schedule regular therapy sessions for your character once a moon/month, if you wish to do so please pm me about it with the following title: "[character name] Scheduled Therapy".

Overview of Injury: Right ear torn clean off, deep gash on left side, scratch marks on neck, legs, body, and tail, and tip of tail missing. All cause by two badgers on the territory(who are both dead now)

Outcome of the Healing (Live/Die/Disabilities/etc.): She will barely live, but will be missing her ear, so she will only be able to hear half of things, she can't climb right with some of her tail missing, and the deep gash on her side will impact how she walks and stands. The deep gash is the most fatal wound.
