Daywhisper silently padded into camp, brows furrowed in thought as she thought of the last 24 hours alone, Hollykit had attacked his sister over an accident, and then there was her conversation with Crow. She sighed heavily, trying to shake the thoughts from the front of her mind.

With her kits not needing to be watched constantly, she felt useless to her clan. She knew it would be a bit of a transition from queen back to warrior, but she never expected things to end up this crazy on her first moon back.

The cream-and-white warrior wasn't exactly paying attention to where she was going, occasionally tripping when the ground rose or fell slightly. She couldn't get out of her thoughts. The conversation with Crow was her fault, but was her son's outburst hers too? She sucked a shark breath in through her teeth.

When did her kids problems stop being hers? would they always be hers? would she be stuck forever cleaning Holly's messes?

Whisperinghive
A 12-16 moon old tom with marigold-orange fur, dull green eyes, and a thin scar running from below his left eye down his muzzle to his nose.

Whisperinghive padded out of the warriors den, archinf his back in a stretch and yawning before his dull eyes traveled around the camp. He hasn't gone on a patrol in a while, Whisperinghive realized, his fur prickling softly in disappointment with himself. With a huff, he looked around for someone who'd like to go with him. He didn't like going outside of camp alone, so the company would be appreciated. The marigold-orange warrior walked for a bit before his eyes fixed on a molly, Day-something. Whisperinghive didn’t usually talk to mollies... So maybe he should? The tom did need to start talking to more cats. With an inhale, he padded over. "Excuse me, ma'am? Would you like to go on a hunting patrol with me?" He asked, wincing inwardly. Was that polite? Did he sound too blunt? Too rude? Too passive? Pushing those thoughts away, he continued. "I haven't been out in a while, so hunting would probably get me stretched out." Whisperinghive explained, his tail lashing nervously behind him. He wouldn't mind if she rejected, someone else would probably come. Like..Batglare? He could take Rabbitpaw out, if they weren't busy.

(It's ok! I don't mind length as long as it isn't a one-liner/silly)

Daywhisper's attention was dragged back to reality as he spoke, she tilted her head curiously. She couldn't help but let out an amused snort, no one called her ma'am ever, it was nice, but did make her feel older than she was. She'd seen this tom around a couple of times but they'd never really interacted before now. Thinking back she couldn't remember if she'd EVER seen anyone interacting with this cat before.

The cream and white Windclan warrior flashed a friendly smile and nodded "Oh! uh- Hello!" Her tail swayed gently behind her as she weighed her options. I could do absolutely nothing, or make myself useful. She wasn't going to laze around camp all day, she couldn't. Someone would have her pelt for it if she did for sure.

She nodded once more "I'd love to!" Daywhisper said with a pure "My name's Daywhisper by the way! I've seen you around a couple of times... uh... Whisper... Whispered... Whispering... uh" She laughed nervously, not knowing his suffix or even really his full prefix "It seems I'm drawing a blank on your name I'm so sorry," She said embarrassment prickling at her pelt.

( I try not to do one-liners, especially now that I'm getting back into rping FSDHKSD I usually try to match whoever I'm replying to lol )

Oh- Oh Starclan! Her smile was gorgeous! Were all mollies this pretty? Wait- why in Starclan was he already complimenting her? He didn't do that with Stempaw for a while. Whisperinghive felt his pelt slightly burn, but he lashed his tail to focus more on that than his burning pelt. Whisperinghive listening quietly as the other warrior introduced herself and struggled to remember his name. "It seems I'm drawing a blank on your name. I'm so sorry." Why in the world would she apologize? Whisperinghive was never around his clanmates, let alone talk to them. It's no surprise that she barely knew the first part of his name. "Whisperinghive, its Whisperinghive." He said. It felt...Odd to introduce himself. The ginger warrior had barely ever done that. Scratch that, it felt pretty good to introduce himself. He still didn't like big crowds and loud voices, but this was a great start. "Um- I was thinking we could go to Sunset Grove?" Whisperinghive suggested, hoping to stop being so awkward.
