[Atari] Atari Crown and Claw of the Crown Applications

...Okay so I really don't have a lot of energy to make something fancy but the Atari is currently in search of a new Crown and Claw of the Crown! The Atari are currently set to become involved in the ThunderClan plot; meaning the "high ranks" will also get to become involved in that as well!

What are we looking for?

• Activity! The Crown and Claw of the Crown should be posted with and used often, involved in camp happenings, daily tasks, and most importantly the ThunderClan plot.
• Communication! If you have a discord I'm sure the ThunderClan team wouldn't mind working with you to get you caught up to speed on the plot.
• Dedication! The Atari are, from what I understand, a more permanent outsider group that will have their own thread to roleplay in and be in the same timeline as the main Clan universe! Therefore, even when the plot is over you'll still be able to continue with your "rank" and do Atari things! Keep in mind that they can be utilized in plots with the other Clans/etc, so there may be other exciting opportunities down the road.

That's about it! There's no form, I want you to be creative! Because there is a bit of a time crunch on these so they're ready to go for the prophecy, please have all applications done by Wednesday, October 9th at 11:59pm EST. That's about five days from now!

Brutus is a claw who defends the atari with an unwavering sense of honor and nobility. Her moral code is strong and will always place the well being of the atari before her own despite being a claw always trying to prove herself to them no matter what cost as she protects everything she loves.

Brutus is a strategist by nature carefully planning her actions carefully not heading into battle head on unless absolutely necessary, but sometimes this can lead to overthinking that demands quick thinking. She still learns from her faults growing wise from them after each fault.

Brutus believes strongly in the power of authority and justice, as a way to maintain order that keeps cats safe. Chaos is the enemy, and structure is peace she holds onto rules for the safety of her group. Brutus is not just a cat of strength but one of discipline and purpose, a leader who strives to make life better for all through honor, strategy, and unwavering loyalty.

Brutus was born into the atari during summer; she was the only kit of her litter with a single mother named rex. Brutus’s kithood in the atari was peaceful. Brutus's curiosity and determination were evident from the start. She spent her time learning everything she could about the Atari’s traditions, The crown, The ranks, and the values they held .
As a kit Brutus looked up to the crown, the highest rank in the atari she wished to be a crown one day. Her ambition drove her even while she played, pretending to be in battle or even lead them with her army of moss balls Mimicking the crown that she looked up to.
Though young, Brutus showed her determination, keen observation, and a strong desire to contribute to the Atari. Her life in the mountains shaped her endurance, teaching her how to navigate through challenges with patience and careful thought, traits that would define her as she grew into an initiate.

Claws, feathers, and a kit

(two:mentions of animal death and slight gore.)

 

The day started off normal and it was calm. The atari was going about their day when the she cat was prowling around the rocky camp when a piercing screech echoed through the air before she knew it a hawk had swooped down towards a kit grabbing it in its long dark claws drawing blood. The kit let out a loud yell too as the hawk attempted to fly off, but She was close and she wasnt going to let a member of her group be taken off by a hawk.

Brutus lunged upwards, claws extended out. Claws met feather and talons met flesh. The kit was dropped injured, but not deathly hurt now the hawks' attention was on her. In the air was a mess of angry yowls and blood, Lots and lots of blood. The hawks' curved talons scratched across Brutus's face making an “X” shape in her face, but even in the pain she continued to fight, breaking one of the hawks' wings they fell.

And they fell hard.
She and the hawk hit the ground. The claw didnt realize how high up she was causing some damage to herself, but mostly the hawk who broke her fall had killed it instantly; a smirk formed on the she cats maw. Stepping away from the hawk's body with a limp .Injured paw the least of her worries her gaze turned to the kit making sure they were okay, their wounds would scar, but her group was safe.

In the mountains, just before the first frost of dawn,
two figures trudged through the snow-laden path,
their shadows stark against the jagged cliffs,
and the wind, biting and sharp, whispered of a coming storm.

The first, cloaked in frost and resolve, led with sure-footed steps,
eyes fixed on the distant peak, undeterred by the gale.
The second lingered, breath visible in the cold air,
eyes lifted to the cloud-covered peaks above,
where the wind’s howl echoed through the frozen valleys below.
The sky, bruised with winter’s promise, pressed against them both,
but the first did not falter, steps steady, a leader’s pace unbroken.

“What holds you?” came the question,
low and rumbling like the shifting earth beneath them.
The second remained silent, feet rooted in the snow,
for the weight of the journey was not of body, but of mind,
and the climb ahead seemed not only of stone and ice,
but of expectation, unspoken yet heavy as the sky.

A gust of wind tugged at their fur,
sending snow swirling around their paws,
but the first, unwavering, turned only briefly,
a glance sharp as the icy air, demanding yet calm.
"There is no room for doubt in the storm ahead,"
spoken not with harshness, but with the strength of one
who knows the weight of leadership, of paths walked alone.

Still, the second hesitated,
for beneath the snow and sky, there was a burden shared
but unacknowledged in the space between them.
Leadership, after all, was not just the climb,
but the storm within—the silent, unseen battle.

The second finally moved, slow but deliberate,
treading the path carved by those who came before.
In the howl of the wind, there was no sound save for the crunch of snow,
and the weight of what was left unsaid.
The mountains loomed above, cold and indifferent,
but the first did not waver, pressing onward still,
for in the heart of the storm lay the test of resolve,
and in the climb, a truth buried deep:
That leadership is not about withstanding the storm,
but embracing it, letting it carve away the doubt,
until what remains is as unyielding as the mountain itself.

The storm came not in fury, but in the stillness after,
where strength is found not in shelter,
but in standing tall against the wind, unafraid.
