His Personality

Darkice doesn't like talking much. However, he will speak when prompted to. He isn't much of a small talker either. Darkice is more an independent cat, hunting alone when he can. He also tries to avoid getting an apprentice; he would much rather stick to doing his own thing.

Despite this, Darkice isn't as mean as he's made out to be. He can be a very kind cat if given the chance and time. He is very protective of his loved ones, especially since there aren't many left of his kin.

Still, Darkice is difficult to truly befriend. Mutuals, perchance, but a mutual friendship is tough. Darkice has trust issues and resents most of society due to a past he tends to keep to himself. Darkice accidently may lash out at others when in a bad mood. He feels bad about it later.

Though Darkice doesn't appear to fear much, he does. Darkice is afraid of his kin and loved ones dying or going missing. He also has a minor phobia of spiders and can be a bit paranoid about prey or herbs being poisoned at times.

Possible Relationships

Mother (0/1)

Darkice's mother truly is not a bad cat. However, the two have grown distant over the moons. Though visiting her occasionally, sometimes Darkice even goes out of his way to avoid his mother. The two do love each other, but they also remind each other of dark times and past abuse, hence why they don't talk much. Darkice usually just says that he's too busy with his duties as a warrior to visit his mother, which is half-true.

Preferably biological, but I don't care.

Father (1/1)

Despite the fact that his heart sometimes tries to excuse him for his actions, Darkice despises his father with a burning passion. In the past, Darkice's father was very abusive to both Darkice and his mother, and only moons after one of the worst incidents between them did Darkice's mother leave him. Nowadays, Darkice almost never speaks to his father, and he never wants to. Darkice is jealous seeing other cats with good dads because he never had a good one himself.

Can be an outsider, but him still being in the Clan is preferred. Biological father preferred, but I don't care.

Friend (0/?)

Darkice has few friends, and may not talk to his current ones very often, but he would protect them with his life. Darkice's true friends are likely some of the most important cats in his life.

Mutual (0/∞)

Darkice's mutuals aren't very close to him at all, the closest he and a mutual may have could be a sort of acquaintanceship, but Darkice still cares about them. His mutuals would pretty much be anyone he might be comfortable talking to sometimes and/or who he isn't rude to and isn't rude to him. Basically anyone who may have talked to him a few times and isn't mean.

Enemy (0/?)

Darkice doesn't have many enemies either, his only true nemesis being his father. An enemy could be someone who doesn't like him, ticks him off a ton, etcetera.

Apprentice (1/1)

Darkice doesn't exactly want an apprentice, but he isn't entirely opposed to the idea of one either. He may scold his apprentice at times or make the occasional criticisve comment, but overall, Darkice will do his best to act decently to his apprentice and teach them well in the ways of the Clan.

• Darkice is aroace; he is not looking for a mate or biological kits, though in the future he might consider a queerplatonic relationship and/or adoptive kits.

• If you want to begin a roleplay between your character and Darkice if I accept them as the applied relationship, go ahead and mention me in a post!

• I didn't add them above because I'm lazy but you could also apply to be Darkice's sibling, littermate, sibling figure, non-biological parental figure, past mentor, etcetera.

There is no form for applying for a Darkice relationship. However, your application must include a small overview on your cat's personality, their relationship with Darkice, their age in moons, their name, their gender and pronouns, and (optionally unless applying for a biological role, either way preferred) a description of your cat's appearance or an image of them.

This is not entirely first come first serve, as I have the right to decline your application if I see fit. If I decline it, I will tell you why. Depending on why I declined it, you might be able to reapply.

Echopaw is a bit like a bully. He teases, mocks, and sometimes tries to manipulate. His father IceCrush(npc) abused him. He was taught trust nobody, or they'll turn their back on you. It's hard for him to make friends because of this. He isn't close to many cats. He has a silly side to him, a soft side. If you make him mad, he will spread rumors about you. He loves playing with kits and letting them win. When he plays with kits, it's an escape for reality. He tries to work hard, hoping to become a warrior quickly. He is 9 moons.
