Okay, so, the lockdown was definitely something.
But apprentices could still be changed, no problem.

Speaking of which, Stormpaw was gonna have battle training now.
But, he had brought his friend, Ravenpaw, along.
That's fine, they can practice sparring each other, makes it easier.

So, he took the two apprentices to an out of the way part of camp.
"Alright." Skunkridge said "I'll have you to practice moves on each other, does that sound good?"

Training with Stormpaw.
Easy.
At this point, she was use to training with other apprentices.
It was a common occurrence.
And Stormpaw was her friend.
So, that's a plus.

She'd never spoken to Skunkridge before, she was only aware that they're Stormpaw's mentor.
Seems pretty normal though, definitely had experience with those scars.

After being led to a quiet part of camp, Skunkridge talked about sparring against each other.
She looked at Stormpaw for a moment, before waiting for what the tuxedo cat would say next.

He was happy to be training with a friend! His fluffy tail swayed high in the air the entire time…then he found out what kind of training it was. He smile faltered for a moment. He hated violence! And with a friend nonetheless. It’s fine Stormy—it’s just training! You won’t actually hurt her! Sure, you’re a little bit older and larger but…it’s fine! Just be careful.

Okay, so, both of them looked ready.
Skunkridge gave a flick of her tail as she thought about what to do first.

He browsed through some options in his mind for a moment.
Alright, starting simple.
"So, first off, you're gonna practice basic swipes at one another." They said, before adding "Claws sheathed, obviously."

She then gave a demonstration, raising up on her hind legs and swiping and batting her forepaws at the air a few times.
After getting back to standing normally, Skunkridge sat.

"Begin whenever you're ready."

Ravenpaw gave a short nod, before she managed to stand on her two hind legs.

Her legs weren't the longest due to her age, but she could manage.
Now, she just had to swipe with her paws without falling over.

So, she attempted to swipe sheathed paws at Stormpaw.

Ravenpaw was swiping averagely hard, so when she felt Stormpaw's swipes, she was surprised how soft they were.

"Are you going easy on me?" It was a genuine question.
She was younger than him, after all.
Cats had a weird thing about going easy on anyone younger than them.

He gulped. Ruh-roh…he’d been caught. He glanced away, avoiding eye contact for a few moments as he tried to come up with a probable lie. He didn’t want to say that was all his might cause that’d just be pathetic. Looks like the truth was his only option.

“U-uhhh yeah…umm…sorry…It’s just I-” well, does the cat have your tongue Stormy? Spit it out. “I’m nit the biggest fan of fighting and I don’t really—y’know…know my own strength.” that was true. He felt like a giant now compared to the kit he used to be. A giant, clumsy fluff ball was what he was. “I just didn’ wanna hurt ya.” he stated. He got his paw ready to swipe again, this time putting more weight and power into it.
