Daywhisper yawned, slowly rising to her paws. The mostly white she-cat stretched and looked around the warriors' den. It was not only her first night back in the warriors' den but also the first day of training with her new apprentice, Ashpaw.
The Windclan warrior took a deep breath before exiting the den, squinting against the harsh sunlight until finally her eyes adjusted. From there she made her way to the apprentice den.
She cleared her throat before lowering her head into the entrance "Ashpaw, are you there?" She called out softly to avoid disturbing any resting apprentices. Her green eyes scanned the den, trying to pick her apprentice out of the many sleeping cats in the den.

Ashpaw’s head jerked up. He actually already woke up, but he had decided to stay in the den, just to observe his new surroundings. The voice that called him made him jump a bit because he didn’t expect it. But he quickly came back to his senses as he recognised the voice. “Yeah, I’m coming” he whispered before getting up. Trodding towards the entrance, he saw the form of his white furred mentor. “Good morning,” he said. “You came to start to teach me things?” He asked in a tone that resembled more an affirmation or confirmation tone.

She gave him a warm smile, her tail tip twitched "Good morning, did you sleep well?" She asked, out of the habit of asking her own kits that question. Wait, he'd said more- right. " Yes, Today we'll do borders and a bit of hunting" She said, a purr rising in her throat as she turned and exited the den, waiting for Ashpaw to follow.
This was going to be a good first training session, she hoped it would be at least. It would be nice to have a refresher of the borders anyway. She was excited to get back out there.
