A Snake's Rabbit {Private}

Snakepaw was sitting in the Shadowclan Clearing, sure was even more depressing not to have someone to teach him how to climb a tree, like that was useful to him.

Rabbitear was... actually, what was she doing? Sitting lazily around camp? Yes, that was exactly what. And that had to change. If she was here, healthy and safe, she should probably do something to keep the rest of the Clan that way. Hunting would be a good way. She noticed Snakepaw across the clearing. The tom was almost a warrior, she knew that. Maybe she'd ask him to hunt. She got up and padded over.

When she got closer, she could tell something was bothering her fellow ShadowClanner. He seemed more depressed than usual. "What's wrong?" she asked, sitting next to him. The molly knew he wasn't really the open type, but you never know. @Kipo Oak

"My mentor just dissapeared, now Nightshadow can't train me, cause she's gone." Snakepaw said "And I also have no one to train me to climb a tree, is that useful to the clan? An apprentice always an apprentice?" he asked in his famous flat tone.

Rabbitear listened as Snakepaw explained in his emotionless voice. When he finished, she said, "Well, an apprentice that's always an apprentice is pretty useless to the Clan. But I can fix that," she mewed. "Follow me if you want to learn to climb a tree." She stood, flicked her tail, and started to pad towards the exit of the camp. @Kipo Oak

Snakepaw stood up and followed Rabbitear "I know where the tree that cats normally train on is, it's covered in claw marks." Snakepaw said

Rabbitear nodded. "Lead the way, then," she mewed, ready to follow. She knew the way there, having learned to climb there herself, but Snakepaw could obviously use something to boost his non-depressed side. @Kipo Oak

Snakepaw said nothing and just walked to the tree. "Here." he said

Rabbitear followed Snakepaw to the tree. Claw marks were scratched into its trunk up and down. She nodded. This tree was good for tree climbing. "Okay, what do you know about climbing?" she asked, then added, "I will warn you, this won't be easy." @Kipo Oak

"Only that is requires claws." Snakepaw admitted, he didn't really know anything about tree climbing, he unsheathed his claws, and put a paw on the tree, looking up it's trunk, Snakepaw took his paw off the tree and sheathed his claws, turning to Rabbitear.
