Woollyfeather waddled her rounded body through the clearing. Despite the looming due date being less than a week away in real life, in this role play because I said so, her body was only just starting to plump out as she grew to be further along into her pregnancy.
She already knew, but she was trying to pretend she wasn't and could ignore the way her sides swayed with each step. There were many reasons she was resistant to retiring in the nursery, but the biggest one was Cloudpaw.
She had a duty to see through to as her mentor, and she didn't plan to shirk it because of a surprise like this.
Her blue eyes scanned the clearing for her apprentice that was, funny enough, nearly a little clone of herself. It was a silly and wonderful coincidence.
Apprentice spotted, she made her way to Cloudpaw's side, any crowd that might have existed thankfully parted easily for her.
Once in front of Cloudpaw, she smiled softly, her tail swishing at a slow pace behind her.
"Hello, Cloudpaw. I think we have put your training off long enough, yes?"
She angled her head forward, a gentle hint that this wasn't entirely optional, despite the next words that left her mouth.
"Unless you have other plans?"
