RiverClan's Trials

Settled in the general territory of what the Atari knows as The Crag, their camp is a barren rocky clearing that is protected by a thickly woven wall of brambles and stone and backed up against the side of the mountain. The ground is pretty barren and tough, though after years of calling it home the Atari have developed tough paw pads to adapt to their surroundings. Dens have been built to be underground to protect the Atari from the dangerous elements of nature.

Known as The Crag, the territory that belongs to the Atari is massive. It spans the entirety of the mountain tops. Most of it is rugged and is home to steep drop offs and inclines, with sparse greenery.

Glimmerall: A cave-dwelling moonlit pool that seems to cast glimmering shadows and sparkles around the cave walls at night. The surface of the pool is always still, the water crystal-like and practically see-through to the bottom. Atari ceremonies are performed here.

Eagle’s Landing: The highest point of the mountain that overlooks the camp and the rest of the Atari’s territory. The remnants of an eagle nest still reside up here, maintained as a rest point. Only the Crown and Claw of the Crown, and those invited by the Crown, are allowed up here.

Pointbreak: Near the cliffside of their mountain camp where Initiates are trained. It overlooks the giant ocean below them but has enough room for movement and the drop offs are protected by a thickly woven bramble wall. Assessments for future Claws and Trappers happen here

A long-running crack in the earth that splits the Atari territory from RiverClan's temporary camp and territory. It's not deep and small enough for cats to leap over, but it is heavily marked with Atari scent and as such is acknowledged as their border. A few trees dot the ground here and there but foliage is still pretty sparse.

RiverClan's former temporary mountain camp is located on a rocky ridge with sparse grass. A river tumbles down the side of the mountain near the former camp. Various rock formations and the tangled roots of gnarly trees provide spaces for dens. The area where the camp was has flat, albeit stony, terrain, but the area is surrounded by tall rocks and cliffs.

This camp is abandoned now that RiverClan has returned to their normal territory. Any outsider is welcome to post here!

This was the territory RiverClan claimed for themselves while they were in the mountains. There's a narrow, but accessible, path that lead down from their camp out of the mountains. The further a cat heads down this path, the grassier and more forested the area becomes. A river rages alongside the area where RiverClan had its camp, rushing down out of the mountains.

Beyond RiverClan's former camp, there's a rocky path of maneuverable cliffs leading deep into the mountains. The terrain here is precarious and rough, so exercise caution! There are no fatal drops anywhere around RiverClan's former camp, but venturing deep into the area RiverClan once claimed may prove dangerous for the reckless and poor-footed.

This territory is abandoned now that RiverClan has returned to their normal territory. Any outsider is welcome to post here.

The Starpoint is where Fadingstar will hold meetings. It's a tall, pointy rock that juts out over the camp. From the top, a cat can see far off into the distance. It takes effort to climb up here, so the Starpoint is not scalable by kits or young apprentices.

It certainly felt strange to be calling a meeting here; they'd barely been here a day. It had taken time to find a suitable place for a new camp, but once they had he finally started to relax. It felt... nice, in a way, to not have to worry about being attacked and harassed. They could just exist here for a while.

Maybe, if it proved to be nothing but peaceful, they'd stay here for good. That dream, of course, would soon be dashed.

This moon's meeting was long overdue; as much as he was sure his whole Clan could sleep for half a moon, they weren't going to stop acting like a Clan just because they were in a different place. "Let all cats gather here for a Clan meeting!"

jayfrost gathered under the new floodstone replacement at fadingsuns call. the tabby still didnt think highly of their new leader, he was irrational, too hot headed and his heart was simply not in the right place, but riverclan was riverclan. riverclan was home. no matter how badly he had wished and begged for it to not be.
tabbied tail wrapped around light paws, and the tom sat through the uncomfortable itch and sting of his still untreated injuries. there hadnt been time. it didnt matter.

GarlicFeather blinked as a meeting was called, moving toward it he kept the rock he’d found along the way with him. He wasn’t bringing it as some emotional support rock, no that rock had been lost. Such a shame. This rock was simply too pretty to be left all on it’s own. Shaking his head to clear his mind he seated himself and perked his ears. Admittedly GarlicFeather was still tired but that wasn’t any different from any other cat.

Skyfall and Moonpaw quietly stayed together as they gathered with the others. Crowglow and Grimpaw also gathered. Daze was still with them because he was not giving up.
