while the restriction being lifted may prove to be beneficial for warriors (isn't everything beneficial to them), it really doesn't help quillpaw. he's an apprentice. he can't leave camp by himself even if he wants to, unless, of course, he wants to get a scolding from a warrior or his grandmother. seeing as his temper has been dwindling lately, he reasons it'd be best to avoid that in the situation he ends up spitting out a slew of smart remarks. but curses, he just wants to take a simple walk in the territory. so, a warrior is needed, which leads him to where he is now...

quillpaw isn't particularly close with any of his siblings, and he wouldn't say he has favorites either. however, sleepysunrise is by far the most tolerable in his opinion. a bit odd, but still someone he doesn't find irritating, surprisingly enough. he'd even go as far as to say he respects her - but that's to be expected, seeing as she's a skilled warrior. surely, she was one of the ones thrush was talking about, he thinks with a short hum and a glance at the molly as he pads alongside her. his nose scrunches. maybe he should ask if she knows thrush..? no, definitely not.

"I wonder if riverclan will actually act like a clan once they fully return." he comments, breaking the some silence. "I was hoping they'd stay gone, but it's amusing to watch them constantly embarrass themselves, right?"
