Smolderingpaw's training
With that nasty bunch dealt with, Smolderingpaw was in a foul mood. Far more foul than before, and, ultimately felt he needed to take this out on something… Or someone. He hadn’t gotten much training these days, if any, thanks to that mentor thing of his. He almost thought she was RiverClan with her clear lack of presence, so evidently it had become time to get the cat moving. He spent some time searching for Lynxshade, approaching her with a flick of his tail when he found her, tilting his head in a manner that showed off the scar on his chin.
“Don’ you think it’s time you taught me something? ‘m not gonna sit around being your apprentice forever.”

Lynxshade was cleaning her nest when a gray and black tom with amber eyes showed up behind her. And in a bitter mood, it seemed.
"Smolderingpaw, while it is my duty to train you as your mentor, it is you who should first come to me since I also have other jobs to do. But now that you're here, let's make the best of this time and head out immediately." Truth told, she felt a bit guilty of neglecting her young apprentice, however, she couldn't deny that being an Enforcer took away most of her time either.
The black-spotted gray feline headed to the camp entrance, flicking her tail as a sign to follow her. Silently, she treaded quickly through the dark pine forest to a patch clear of trees that offered them enough space to move.
"This is Shadow's Break. A good place both for hunting and herb scavenging. You can well figure out why I've brought you here."
"Now, what do you know about our stealth ways? Have you ever tried the hunting crouch as a kit?" Most cats did play in that way, something that eventually helped them learn the ways of Shadowclan warriors, but Smolderingpaw didn't seem the type to have many friends in the clan.
She had a lot of work to do with this cat.
