...Okay so I really don't have a lot of energy to make something fancy but the Atari is currently in search of a new Crown and Claw of the Crown! The Atari are currently set to become involved in the ThunderClan plot; meaning the "high ranks" will also get to become involved in that as well!

What are we looking for?

• Activity! The Crown and Claw of the Crown should be posted with and used often, involved in camp happenings, daily tasks, and most importantly the ThunderClan plot.
• Communication! If you have a discord I'm sure the ThunderClan team wouldn't mind working with you to get you caught up to speed on the plot.
• Dedication! The Atari are, from what I understand, a more permanent outsider group that will have their own thread to roleplay in and be in the same timeline as the main Clan universe! Therefore, even when the plot is over you'll still be able to continue with your "rank" and do Atari things! Keep in mind that they can be utilized in plots with the other Clans/etc, so there may be other exciting opportunities down the road.

That's about it! There's no form, I want you to be creative! Because there is a bit of a time crunch on these so they're ready to go for the prophecy, please have all applications done by Wednesday, October 9th at 11:59pm EST. That's about five days from now!

Brutus is a claw who defends the atari with an unwavering sense of honor and nobility. Her moral code is strong and will always place the well being of the atari before her own despite being a claw always trying to prove herself to them no matter what cost as she protects everything she loves.

Brutus is a strategist by nature carefully planning her actions carefully not heading into battle head on unless absolutely necessary, but sometimes this can lead to overthinking that demands quick thinking. She still learns from her faults growing wise from them after each fault.

Brutus believes strongly in the power of authority and justice, as a way to maintain order that keeps cats safe. Chaos is the enemy, and structure is peace she holds onto rules for the safety of her group. Brutus is not just a cat of strength but one of discipline and purpose, a leader who strives to make life better for all through honor, strategy, and unwavering loyalty.

Brutus was born during a warm summer as the only kit in her litter to a single mother, Rex, in the mountainous territory of the Atari. When Brutus was young , she admired the Crown and aspired to one day reach that position of power.

Her early life was peaceful, filled with exploration and learning the traditions and beliefs of the Atari. Even as a kit, she wanted to prove her worth, often playing in the mountains and “growing” her skills by practicing with moss balls and stones.

During her apprenticeship, Brutus demonstrated a natural talent for strategy and leadership. She trained Hard, focusing on becoming not just a strong fighter but a tactical thinker. Brutus stayed behind to watch and observe most of the time even with her own reckless acts. Such as facing a hawk head on after it went for a kit that was left unattended giving her the scars to prove it.
As a claw, Brutus grew into a fierce protector of the Atari, always striving to uphold the justice and order that the Atari strived on. She was known for her strong moral code that never changed . Brutus prefers to use both brains and brawn in any battle using two strengths together instead of separate.

The day started off normal and it was calm. The atari was going about their day when the she cat was prowling around the rocky camp when a piercing screech echoed through the air before she knew it a hawk had swooped down towards a kit grabbing it in its long dark claws drawing blood. The kit let out a loud yell too as the hawk attempted to fly off, but She was close and she wasnt going to let a member of her group be taken off by a hawk.

Brutus lunged upwards, claws extended out. Claws met feather and talons met flesh. The kit was dropped injured, but not deathly hurt now the hawks' attention was on her. In the air was a mess of angry yowls and blood, Lots and lots of blood. The hawks' curved talons scratched across Brutus's face making an “X” shape in her face, but even in the pain she continued to fight, breaking one of the hawks' wings they fell.

And they fell hard.
She and the hawk hit the ground. The claw didnt realize how high up she was causing some damage to herself, but mostly the hawk who broke her fall had killed it instantly; a smirk formed on the she cats maw. Stepping away from the hawk's body with a limp .Injured paw the least of her worries her gaze turned to the kit making sure they were okay, their wounds would scar, but her group was safe.

Brutus is a strong and sharply minded cat thinking before acting most of the time, but she does have her own reckless acts. She is not perfect after all, but she wants to be Crown to return the good to the cats and restore greatness to the atari.

If brutus is picked for crown or cotc she wants to bring greatness back to the atari keeping then strong and alive. She doesn't fear bloodshed but would prefer that no cat jumps into battle head on causing more harm than good. Brutus will not be afraid to execute or exile any cat bringing danger into the atari.

Alongside that she would not fully lead the atari alone she would work alongside her cotc or crown depending on if she gets a role or not i do plan to keep her active as much as i can in any way. I do have a few events in mind and so on.


-Social ranks-


Brutus would make a social rank called Fangs; they would be the Ataris elite who are above the normal claws/trappers, but they are not considered high ranks, but do have the authority to address issues in the atari within or out of them if needed. Fangs would be a symbol of strength and power in the atari who are expected to upkeep the rules and protect the atari when necessary.

-Titans trial-

(Taking inspo form lumi i saw a thing about honor names i dont know much about them tbh, but i would like to expand on it with my own twist .)

When cats are born in the atari they are given their names when they are born, but some lucky claws/trappers can take a trial renamed Trial of the Titans. This Trial starting with going to the pointbreak the trials will be overseen by the crown and can be watched by any member who wishes to watch from a distance. In the end the crown has a final say if the cat gets the honor name or not most cats with honor names can be promoted to fang via crown if seen fit.

The trials include a climbing test on a rocky terrain, A spar with the crown, win or lose it wont matter, and hunting.( I will be willing to work more on this and will love to plan along under this.)

Heya ty for reading and considering Brutus for the crown or cotc its an honor to write this and be considered for the role I'm a fairly active person and i know my writing style isn't the longest nor is it the best, but I'm still willing to write! Personality

A sweetheart is what Camilla appears to be. Adoring, sweet and gentle with anyone in the Atari. Eager to to be helpful and assist anyone with any task no matter how small. She'll work hard to fulfil a request with all she is. All she wants is for those around her to be happy and safe. Kindness goes a long way in her eyes and she looks forward to spreading it amongst the Atari. Every single cat has value and potential and Camilla is determined to find it and help it thrive. The Atari is one big family, her family, and she'll do her best to make them proud.

Underneath this courteous exterior however, is a cunning trapper that with use the world around her to benefit the Atari without mercy. Camilla has a complex mind, full of lethal intelligence and deadly patience that bends others to her advantage and creates the most effective traps in order to provide for her group. Though she might appear just as friendly to outsiders as she is too her own this is all a ploy to get into their heads so they may be used for the Atari's goals. This doesn't come from malice just a deep devotion to those she considers family willing to go to extreme lengths to protect them. Camilla also has an amazing understanding of psychology, she knows just how to make cats bend, break and follow with a few convincing words. Nothing too severe is used on her Atarimates though, just a little teasing and flirtation.

Camilla tends to make others underestimate her. In the worst of times it's frustrating but most often it's helpful. She tricks others into thinking she's helpless before outsmarting them in a flash. Her fragile frame and sweet attitude can definitely decieve those looking to take advantage of her. On a daily basis she displays a calm temperate, usually for the main purpose of making those around her at ease. As previously stated Camilla is a wonderful actress yet in situations of high stress she can snap. Rarely she has extremely emotional outbursts that end in tears and regretful silence but she will always apologise after this, feeling very guilty for her immature actions...unless the cat in particular has given her a reason to feel unapologetic then her emotions become her strongest weapon.

Why should she be CotC?

Camilla was the doting half-sister to former crown Saturn. Her disappearance has left her heartbroken and unknowing of the future yet with a fierce determination to rebuild. Though still grieving, Camilla is doing her best to stay strong and provide for the Atari whenever she can. More than ever now, she wants be someone cats can rely on and trust and though she isn't particularly ambitious she has the motive of bringing the Atari further together through trust and cooperation.

Though a trapper, Camilla would work hard to fulfill all the duties a Claw of the Crown should. Physical labour isn't her strong point and her vison impairment doesn't help but with her intelligence she will create a detailed system with in the Atari that promotes partnership and ties the cats closer together. She'll often hold events to everyone can keep up on training but will also host socials to further foster teamwork through the group.

Her compassion and wisdom would also be used to resolve disputes, help the crown with decions and gently enforce order. All diplomatic situations would be handled carefully and cordially, using her charming attitude to find opportunities for the Atari but would never make an action without most of her group behind her. Overall Camilla would be the gentle and persuasive CotC that is fully committed to acting in the Atari's best interests.

Traditions

Symbols of honour

If allowed to invent traditions, Camilla would implement a way for particularly noble cats of the Atari to be awarded a special item to be worn as a symbol of their dedications and brave feats. This would add on to the naming tradition, allowing them to physically express their heroic deeds. The accessories would range from flowers, vines and feathers and would often relate to the reason they were given it. Multiple symbols for multiple deeds may be worn.

⭞ Backstory

Rune was born as an outsider kit to Deity and Foreststrike (StarClan warrior, formerly ShadowClan) on the ShadowClan border. She was the only surviving kit of her litter. After going through outsider joining without giving any explanation of her origin, the child was renamed Cliffkit and lived happily for a while. Her father was never active in their life. However, after sneaking out of camp at the age of 4 moons, Cliffkit found her mother and never returned, and was renamed Cliff. Cliff lived very happily with star mother, rarely arguing with her and felt very connected to Deity. During this time, Cliff learned the ways of the wild, learning how to hunt and fight.

Later on, at the age of 7 moons, Cliff didn't feel like her name anymore, and after speaking with Deity, they were renamed Rain. But, as a cat of many names, this one didn't stick. Tragedy struck when her mother died in a flood. Feeling lost, empty, and starving for revenge, Rain renamed starself Rune, a hollow shell of the raging storm she once was. Later on they joined the Atari, working tirelessly and nearly to death to fill themself up with something other than grief. It worked, and star was healing. Slowly. Eventually, Rune grew into a new personality, a new start at life. Knowing the traumas and trials of the world star devoted herself to the group, never once giving up on them.

Rune's slitted deep green eyes stared directly ahead of her, each pawstep delicate and intent. The hare had seemingly come from nowhere into star's peripheral vision, and the Crown/Claw of the Crown had quickly swung their attention to the animal, its short gray-brown fur sleek in the faintly chilled air. Rune continued her way slowly, steadily, as though nothing else in the world mattered. She kept her tail deathly still as she approached the animal, living a hunter's fear of being discovered by their prey. But the hare seemed to have no interest in spotting her, until a slight growl behind them had star whipping around, fur bushed, muscles tense. Rune wasn't a big cat, they were about average-sized, and was stuck facing off against a fox. Of course she was facing off against a fox, couldn't star get a moment of peace? Well, this was their life now, being the Crown/Claw of The Crown. Duty calls.

A devilish grin had grown on their face as she lunged at the russet predator with a violent yowl, slamming into it with such force it staggered back with a yelp. The fear aspect was stronger than any weapon, Rune had learned, and it was true. They disguised star face as one belonging to a crazed creature, trembling hard and twitching while approaching the fox, head kinked hard to the left. The hunter of the hunter seemed extremely skeptical now, after its bodycheck experience, and, as it was only a young adult, ran off in defeat. Good. Rune would have to send out some cats to make sure it was gone for sure. Sigh. And the hare was gone. She may as well head back to camp, get a group of cats organized to come follow the foxscent. Turning in annoyance back in the direction of home, tail lashing, the feline stalked away, gritting star teeth and restraining a hiss of disdain from under their breath.

Hello~!! You probably know me. I'm Zara, better known as Blaze! I've been active in the WCO since my joining in December, and haven't regretted it! Currently I have 3 cats, Goldfish (RiverClan Lionheart), Owlpaw (WindClan Apprentice), and Rowankit (ShadowClan Kit), but I hope to be active in the Atari as well. Rune is a totally new character to me, and I'm excited to start roleplaying her as soon as she's accepted! For a while now I've been plotting to have a character like Rune, so it's nice to finally have her active and ready to go! What Would He Do As A Crown/COTC

Tradition A: Trial of The Mountains

The Trial of the Mountains is a trial every cat has to complete. Whether you are an outsider joining, a Young trying to become an Initiate, or an Initiate becoming a Claw, Trapper, or Keeper.

Every cat must start at the bottom of the tallest mountain in the mountain range: Eagle's Landing. They must climb to the top, through cliffs and ledges and deep canyons in the mountain. If they make it to the top, they must wait until sunrise, keeping watch over the territory. Once sunrise comes, it is said that the spirits of those they've lost will guide them back down safely. If they fail to make it up... then he'll know the stars didn't think they were ready.

Tradition B: Trial Of The Ocean

Unlike the name suggests, this trial has nothing to do with water. After an Initiate or outsider completes the Trial Of The Mountains, they must return and spar with Poseidon. If you fail this, and he wins, he will keep you in the Atari, but he'll have to reassess their place in the Atari and they have to restart their training.

Things He Would Implement:


-Social Ranks: Posedion would implement a social rank called the "Talons". You have to retake the Trial of The Ocean to be eligible for this rank. If chosen, I'll go more in depth on the requirements.
-Honor Names: Lumi already did this, but I'm adding my own twist. All the requirements are the same, but if Poseidon deems you unfit to keep the name, he'll take it away and possibly demote you.
-The Feast of the Moon: Every night, at moonhigh, all the cats feast. They make an oval around the prey pile, and each cat takes a bite of a prey before passing it to the next, and they repeat this cycle until everyone goes to sleep.

Posedion yawned. Stretching, he left his den. Seeing the sun reflect off the white tips of the mountains reminded him of how it used to reflect off the sea where he lived. Leaping up onto the Fractured Spire, he yowled. "Let all cats of the Atari gather beneath me for a meeting!" He curled his tail around his paws. He had lots of announcements to make today. New initiates, new Claws, new Trappers, etc. Hopefully the meeting wouldn't take that long, since all the announcements were simple and straightforward. Poseidon waited for the Atari to gather, and then he would begin.

Hello! It's forest here, and I'd like to add a few things OOC.

Hello! It's me, forest, your local trans mess. I think I should be picked because I personally believe I am a very good roleplayer. While my posts aren't super long, I'm proud of my roleplaying style!

I'm on very often (9/10 times you check online users I'm there :3) and I really enjoy roleplaying! Obviously why else would I be here To get me to quit WCO, you would have to smash every electronic I access it on to bits (please don't do that mom), and I would still find a way. Yeah, I won't leave this site until it goes down. And then some. Things that would make some want to leave makes me want to stay even more. WCO is my home away from home but on a computer.
