How long has it been since Riverclan had left, since she's been out here by herself for maybe the second time? How many times would she be by herself strolling through random parts of the wood or open land, whatever she came upon? She sought no permanent destination, there was nowhere for her to go at this very moment. Springburst could go back with both Casket and Eagle but she was sure that her presence was intruding on their sanctuary. The tortie wouldn't be like thunderclan and invade someone else's home like she owned it because that wasn't the reality. Her reality was that she was once more hearing her steps crush the random bouts of sticks and grass beneath her. It was obvious she wasn't being quiet about her steps, why should she? She had no thought to find herself food for the moment even if she was getting hungry. Didn't help that she was still somewhat freshly wounded it was already a pain to walk about so no use in hunting at the moment.

Springburst would not undo the work that they had spent to make sure she wouldn't bleed out or for it to get infected. For now, she'd stick with berries and edible plants she could find and maybe she'd get lucky catching an easy morsel of mice. Her steps became slower as she dragged them through the ground, thoughts coming to her head. Maybe she ought to use this chance to see if she could find her siblings, namely her brother. All of her other siblings were a lost cause, autumnpaw had been gone for seasons now, Summerpaw had died before they could get their warrior name and Winterpaw had been kidnapped. Until she figured out where she was going she had the time now to see if she could at least find Winter. Maybe then everything wouldn't feel like it was falling apart like ice being thawed in the warmth.

No news or visitors have passed her territory as of late. It had been quiet. As much as she liked the quiet it was... Unsettling. Having been so used to clan life the quiet meant two things. Either everyone was sleeping or someone was dead. Finishing her meal she licks at his paws to clean her face, short tail curled around her hind legs comfortably. That is until a scent both familiar and unfamiliar finds her. Lifting her head toward the approaching figure, she squints, fur beginning to puff out defensively until...

"Springburst?"

She calls out when the molly gets close enough for her to recognize, rising to her paws and her tail unwinding to raise happily. Usual gait of a quick trot brings her over to the larger girl until she's close enough to offer a gentle headbutt in greeting, a purr rumbling in her chest.

"It's been a while! What, are ya hurt again? Riverclan just can't get things together, huh?" A pause to sniff at her and look her over. "... Wait, are ya actually hurt somewhere? I can take'a look at it."

Startled was an understatement of how she reacted to feeling someone headbutt her softly. So stuck in her thoughts she hadn't realized her name was spoken by a familiar friend from afar. It shouldn't be surprising when the clan she had called home at one point is practically gone for who knows how long. "Wha, hu" she had to take a moment to orientate herself as it took her a few to realize it was Wither standing in front of her now. She never expected to run into her friend again, especially when she returned home. It was hard to casually leave camp once in a while just to be on your own, all because of the leader. Spring had thought she'd never seen a paranoid leader again, Larkstar had an excuse, and naturally, the guy assumed everyone was out to cause trouble. Shouldn't he know by now that she wasn't a troublemaker?! "I..yeah I was hurt again, though I had some help with it getting taken care of but you're free to examine it yourself, silly" for once in such a long while she let a smile creep on her maw.

It had been a long while since she had felt relaxed around someone, didn't have to watch her back. How sad was it that she had felt the need to stay ready for someone to cause problems? That is what Riverclan had done to her in her own home, she couldn't be relaxed because who next would have some ill intent around her. Springburst took a seat right where she stood but positioned herself to have her right leg showing to the former medicine cat. "Home is no more" she simply started, that was how she saw it, them getting kicked from the forest had pretty much been them removing the clan's existence. Besides she had no real way of knowing if they would return to the forest in the first place, so she assumed they were no more. With her shifting, she was able to show the other a somewhat freshly wrapped wound that seemed to stretch across the leg to her wrist. It was clear that someone had placed some sort of mixed herbs and bandaged it but she had forgotten how long ago it had been done.
