Willowfrost yawned as she stood up from her nest, getting a quick stretch in before gently prodding Risingstorm. ”Rise and shine- if you’re still up for helping me wrangle two apprentices, that is.” She mewed, a twinge of amusement in her voice as she padded out into the clearing towards the apprentices den.

Per Raggedear’s request, she had decided to help the…rather unserious tom by takin his apprentice under her wing as he traveled away for a prophecy. She sighed. One apprentice was enough, but two? What was she thinking? Oh well, it would be fine. Especially with some help from Risingstorm- she wasn’t sure how well her temper would handle two. ’Especially if they’ve got a mouth on them like Cloudedpaw.’ The thought admittedly made her chuckle. She liked the spunk he had. It reminded her of herself.

”Cloudedpaw! Ivypaw! Up and at ‘em!” She called into the den.

(Hi @Scary_Sage & @Frozen Reign - to make this a bit easier, as Willowfrost is temporarily taking over Ivypaw’s training, I’m going to be making separate threads for each piece of training! For this one, it will be hunting! @Spider has been kind enough to get Risingstorm to help out with this considering the rule put in place by Bumblestar about leaving camp alone, especially with apprentices ^^ thanks again! the hornet was sleeping pretty well like he usually does before feeling a cat prod his side, The hornet yawned still half awake ... oh yeah he did agree to help with the err- thing. the tom stood up with a stretch before padding behind willow-frost. standing outside of the apprentices Den the hornet waited for the apprentices.

Cloudedpaw groaned as he was woken up. What do you want? He grumbled, stepping out of the apprentices den, not bothering to wait for Ivypaw. I was sleeping. He tilted his head up, and the sun shone down on his face. He immediately looked down, blinking rapidly. Ugh. He growled, shifting on his paws.

Ivypaw raised her head, blinking in the sunlight streaming though the den entrance. Why does it have to be so early? she thought.
Yawning, she got up and stretched, then padded out of the den.
her eyes lit up at the sight of the two warriors looked down at her.
"ooo - are we training? what are we gonna do?" she asked.

"Yes, I see that. You look as unkempt as a badger that was dragged through a bush." Willowfrost replied to her apprentice, a twitch of her whiskers showing faint amusement. "Risingstorm," The she-cat began, flicking her tail towards the hornet. "Has so graciously offered his time to help with hunting training for the two of you." Amber eyes locked onto Cloudedpaw and Ivypaw respectively. "Be sure to thank him before the day is up."

"Now, let's get going. Maybe we can make a little competition out of it. What say you three?" She asked, doing her best to try to maintain a friendlier demeanor. Her apprentice was already moody enough, it probably wouldn't help him if she snapped back too much. Well, not unless he needed to be checked, anyways. Regardless, without waiting for an answer, she began padding towards the camp entrance. "Hustle, hustle!" She mewed over her shoulder, mustering up an encouraging grin to flash at the two apprentices.

As the four reached a clearing out in the territory, Willowfrost turned back to face them. "Alright, first thing's first. Have either of you learned the hunting crouch? If not, pay attention." With that, the she-cat dropped lower on her paws, tail slightly lifted above the ground.

Hmph. Cloudedpaw mumbled, ignoring Risingstorm and his mentor. Do we have to? He growled, sitting down before adding, I need to save energy. He licked his paw, also ignoring the other apprentice. Ivypaw was her name? He watched his mentor demonstrate the hunting crouch, half paying attention.
