Flamegaze woke up cold. Great. just a perfect way to start off a day in Newleaf. wasn't Newleaf supposed to be about new beginnings and the end of leafbare and the end of the cold?
Never mind. she had an apprentice to train. stiffly, she got up and stretched, then padded briskly to the apprentice's den.
"Forestpaw!" she called, "Get out out here! it's time to start training." settling down, she heaved a sigh to wait for him.

Forestpaw perked up. His first training! He'd never been out yet so he excitedly hurried to the den entrance. "I'm here!" The dark brown tabby tom piped.

I'm active most week days from 8:00am-3pm EST, and sporadically on weekends and holidays, but often significantly less than I am during school days. Won't be online afterschool most days and def not Wednesdays cuz karateee.

"Took you long enough," she grumbled to herself quietly. Yes, she was not having a good morning. Well, nothing like being forced to spend her time with a young cat to boost her mood right? ugh. Nevertheless, she put on a more sunny and helpful face.
"Alllright," she said more brightly, "So what, if anything do you know already? If you don't know anything, that's fine, we'll cover it." Since this apprentice had been reassigned, she doubted he even knew the territory, but it was still good to check.
