Background
Note: The following contains mentions of amputation
Wolfpaw was born the oldest of his eight siblings to Antfluff. He had a relatively normal childhood, and was apprenticed alongside his siblings at just 4 moons. Shortly after, him and his family went missing. Wolfpaw was found through an SAR patrol, trapped under a tree which crushed his leg. Due to how bad his leg was broken, Springlight decided to amputate it. Shortly afterwards, a meeting was held which resulted in wolfpaw throwing a fit due to not getting a tripod mentor to help him [
x]. Granted, Bumblestar wasn't notified of the apprentice's condition, more on that later.
Mudhound followed wolfpaw to comfort him, and the young apprentice soon attached to the hornet. Shortly after the meeting, Larkswoop came to confront him about his actions [
x], which ended in a heated argument between the two. Bumblestar followed shortly afterwards and assured Wolfpaw that everything was okay, and assigned him to Mudhound [the catch was telling Skunkridge - his old mentor - of the change, which the apprentice was perfectly fine with].
The tabby apprentice joined Mudhound in the 'Beyond Enemy Lines' event, where he got tips on how to walk. There, they encountered a headless ghost of all things right as they began exploring, which left wolfpaw freaked out. Luckily, Mudhound snatched him and they got away, improving Wolfpaw's respect for his mentor [
x].
Why Wolfpaw?
Here's the thing. Wolfpaw doesn't want to be medicine cat [But his owner does so here he is], he wants to be the strongest warrior and protect cats. But here's the thing: since his injury, all he wanted to do was make sure nobody had to go through as much pain as him, hence all the greatest warrior stuff. He wants to protect his clan, which is something that he can do in a different way. As a Medicine Cat Apprentice.
At first, Wolf will feel a mix of emotions. Pride, Shock, Anger, Honored, Fear, and everything in between. He will hesitantly accept the role, not sure why him of all cats was chosen. As he goes on doing his job, he learns that he doesn't need to be a powerful warrior, and can help with healing. Although he still holds a grudge that he can't be a warrior, he feels a sense of duty and belonging in his new role.
Reviews
Blaaze: "I really like Wolfpaw. He’s straightforward, energetic, playful, and has an attitude that makes me laugh every time he brings it out! As for Sproutfleck’s opinion? He likes the little guy, feels responsible for him. Doesn’t want him to get into any sort of possibly dangerous trouble. After each conversation with wolfpaw he keeps an eye on him for a little while- just to be sure he’s alright."
Mudhound: "The life of a wild cat is one of highs and lows, greater then anything a kittypet can imagine. But the sad reality is these highs and lows are not balanced, and that the worst can happen to even the most innocent souls. Ive seen far less break far older and stronger cats, but Wolfpaw shines bright despite it.
He's young and not perfect, a little chipped around the edges but one of the kinder and brighter cats Ive met, willing to try to move forward after loosing near everything. I dunno what the future has in store for him, but Im excited to be among the group that gets to guide him to it, as anyone should be."
Morningpaw: "Wha... what kind of stupid question is that? Of course, Wolfpaw would make a fine medic if that's what he wants to be, and Bumblestar would be a idiotic not to see it. Though she's smart, so she should know to choose Wolfpaw. He's steadfast, hell, half his family is missing and he lost a damn leg but he's still standing and strong! He cares a lot for the cats around him, better cat than I'll ever be. Wolfpaw is someone I would trust with my health, not because he's my brother or anything, but because I know that he cares... and I imagine that's a pretty important part of being a medicine cat, but what do I know?"
Trivia
Question 1: What's your discord?
I do not have discord yet! Within the next month or so I will turn 13 and gain access to discord. For now, I can use PMs, VMs, and Google Chat. Once I reach the age requirement, I will join the WCO group and send friend requests asap.
Question 2: How long of posts do you normally write?
Most of my posts range from 50-900+ characters, my shorter ones mainly being starters and whatnot, and my longer posts contain more talking or thoughts/emotions and are detailed. I've been looking around and found that my average word count is from 300-600 words.

Hellooooo!!!! It's Bean back at it again with her 9th hr application, and my 5th mca application! This past year I have been rping characters and applying for hrs like crazy, and here I am now with possibly the application i'm most confident with. Wolfpaw is one of my favorite little goofballs, made [aka born in rp] back in febuary of this year! Since he is tech 6 moons this month, me and dol [who roleplay his sibling] have decided to age them up every month, so his ic age is actually his ooc age. I can say with the half year i've had this lil goober, I have grown quite fond of him. He may not be the cat you were expecting for my application, but he is the cat I want to apply and would want to roleplay in this role.
Within the past year my activity has stayed pretty active, with it dropping sometimes but I never actually fully left since my return to the main rp in may of last year. I do not have discord yet [ONE MORE MONTH WOOOOO i will bug yall sm once i get it /silly], but will be getting it within the next month or so.
Extra tidbits
Comfort levels:
Basically everything. From non-descriptive wounds to full on described gore and even descriptive birthing, I don't even flinch. You don't have to worry about wondering what I will be able to handle - just toss it at me and I'll be fine. Wolf however doesn't like anything with amputation, and is fine with everything else [though he might get a bit squeamish with specific things]. By the time Wolfpaw is older, he'll be just like me [minus uncomfty of amputation, that stays].
Activity:
Wolfpaw and I are pretty active. As of writing this, Wolfpaw has a total of 30 posts as an apprentice, and more as a kit. He is pretty active around the clan and wants to be involved with everything. Me as well, im on almost every day and normally am able to get 2-4 responses out, sometimes as much as 8. Do note days I do more responses I get bad burnout for 1-3 days afterwards, but i'm always able to get a few 100+ word posts out every single day.
Extra Notes About Wolf:
Wolfpaw is currently 6 moons [ic and ooc], and Mudhound's apprentice due to having a missing leg. He's very much of a brat while also having this 'Only I can bully my clanmates' sorta thing, and feels strong loyalty to ThunderClan. I have something planned for him that will make him much softer and act as a father figure to younger cats, and that thing was always planned, the way it happened just had to be changed. Anyway, in the near future wolf will be a lot more of a gentle soul, but still have that same energy and pride he does right now. If he is chosen for MCA, i would be over the moon, and he will be confused but be like 'uhhh... okay? Sure I'll be your medicine cat, I guess' If you need to know more about him, VM/PM me
Can't think of much else, so that's all folks! Hope you enjoyed reading and good luck to everyone!!
