the heat is almost unbearable today, even with overcast clouds covering a majority of the sun. willowflurry's pelt is light, not absorbing as much light as a dark pelt would, but their pelt is still thick which just traps the heat. they lay near the camps entrance, and despite the discomfort she feels, it's not evident on her face. she's still wearing a stoic expression, usual for the thunderclanner.

perhaps I'll go hunting with a clanmate, later..when it's not as hot, he thinks with a small sigh, resting their head on their paws.

Snowkit was out in the clearing, wondering what to do. "Ooh! I know!" She said to herself. "I'll look around, and whatever I see I'll do!" So she gazed around the clearing. Hmm... She saw rocks, and a berry bush poking out of the camp's walls. She bounded over, picking up a rock, then walked to the bush. Snowkit set down the rock, sniffing the bush. She plucked a berry off, and smudged it on the rock experimentally. She gasped. The rock was now stained purple! That was so cool!! She needed someone to show immediately!

She glanced around the clearing again, and her gaze latched on to a cat lounging in the clearing. She raced over, rock in hand (or paw?). "Look! Look! I used some berries, and the rock changed color!" She mewed brightly, looking at the cat. Her fur was bristling in excitement (as it usually did) in her discovery.

Before the cat could respond, Snowkit meowed, "Ooh! I gotta show EVERYBODY!" so she raced away, telling everybody about the rock, and raced back, breathless, hopefully with a mob in tow. "We could all try making the rocks different colors with this berry bush!"

Honeypetal was sitting on the sidelines in the clearing, flicking her tail to the melody he hummed. He then saw Snowkit bouncing around and chuckled. He couldn't tell exactly what was going on over there, but he could tell the young kit was excited about something.

willowflurry cants their head as a very excited kit, snowkit, rushes over to them. only to show them a berry juice stained rock? kits always made them a tad uncomfortable simply due to the fact they were usually all very emotional (which, they should be, considering they're babies.) still, she gives a curt nod..perhaps of approval? it's hard to tell, considering the warriors expression doesn't change. either way, snowkit races off before he can actually give a verbal response anyway.

Snowkit beamed in pride when she saw Willowflurry give her a nod. "Isn't this so cool?!" She mewed to Willowflurry. She waited for a response, and when Willowflurry gave it to her, she saw Alpinepaw rolling a berry under another rock. She bounded over. "Ooh, which color did it make this time?" She asked Alpinepaw.

Alpinepaw stepped onto the stone and turned it over. There was a red stain on it. She looked over to Snowkit and replied, "The color is green." It looked greenish to Alpinepaw.

Strawberryfur heard a kit's excited mewling and couldn't resist coming to find out what was going on. She saw Honeypetal and bounced over. "Pssst!" She hissed as she came up behind Honeypetal, trying not to startle them. "Any idea what's going on?" She asked, looking at the other cats collecting berries and rocks.

GoldenKit curiously walked up. He picked up a rock. I hope this one will work. He glanced at the berry bush and tried to paint with the berries.

His paws were stained with the berry juice. He took a step back and admired his work. That looks perfect he smiled to himself

"Wow! That's so cool," Snowkit meowed. "I wanna see what everyone makes!" She turned her head, seeing a small golden kit painting a rock as well. "I'm gonna see what he made," she said, before dashing up to the kit. "Hi!" She said to Goldenkit. She peered curiously at the rock.

GoldenKit glanced up at SnowKit. “Oh, hi.” He looked back down at his rock a little embarrassed. It was slightly a mess but it was a mess that resembled a flower.

He shuffled his berry stained paws trying to wipe them off a little. His tail curled around his legs. His eyes shifted to look back at SnowKit. “I really like flowers.”
