Eveningkit looked up from her nest, she herself was very bored. She had been couped up in the nursery purely because there wasn't anything interesting to do! She wanted to become an apprentice already but she knew the rules. Now kit under the age of six moons was allowed to become an apprentice, and sadly she was definitely not six moons. She let out a grumpy sigh as her amber eyes scanned the every dark corner of the nursery.
That's when she noticed Venomkit, who was spinning around in a circle....well that was wierd at all. Eveningkit watched curiously for a moment longer, usually she would have to deal with her littermate, Geckokit, around about now but he had gone to the clearing leaving her to her moping and boredom alone. It seemed she wasn't the only one without anything to do.
Eveningkit rose to her paws, stretching them as she stepped out of her nest and trotted over to her denmate. "hi!" she purred, greeting the tom as she neared him. Once in a few pawsteps distance she sat down and tilted her head to the side curiously. "What you are doing?" she asked amused.
She suppressed the urge laugh at how dizzy the tomkit looked and instead replied, the amusement still precent in her tone, "Oh yeah, being bored is a thing. I'm bored aswell" she informed him, she was bored and so was Venomkit, when to cats are bored they usually find something fun to do. Well that was the case with herself and her littermate. "um, do you want to play a game or something?" she asked, she wasn't very good at talking to other kits, unlike her brother she wasn't very social which was evident.
Like every other kit, her littermate liked to play and explore, he was always curious to see what was outside of camp and would hover around warriors and attempt to involve himself in anything that had to do with going outside of camp however Eveningkit found no interest in those idle things. Her sense of fun was learning about her clan or Listening to stories from the elders, her curiosity was for her clans history and the warrior code. She didn't play games and she didn't gossip with warriors, was that really a bad thing?
Now to think about she didn't know the first thing about how to interact with someone other than Gecko'kit, this realisation suddenly made her anxious and she wrapped her tail around her paws nervously. "I mean, I don't really know any good games" she said trying to keep up her former appearance.

That was kind of an under statement though, ever since a moon or so his lungs have started to almost burn in his chest and the coughs that start little at first now made his little, too small, body want to collapse. And during his last coughing fit he did exactly that, the cough leaving pretty spots of red on the once fully green mossy nest. It was so empty now, mama was gone and so to were his siblings. Or were they and Ashkit was just too gone to even know who they are anymore. A burning incinerated his chest again as wheezing breaths pushed their way forcibly from his aching lungs, his eyes drooped as though the effort to hold them up was being zapped from his with each breath.
Somewhere deep, deep inside of him, something told him that he shouldn't fall asleep, he can't fall asleep. Something screamed in the back of his mind that he needed to go get help, that he wasn't getting better like he thought he would but still he refused to go near that awful place. The medicine den, what a joke, Ashkit knew what happened in there. Cats died. It was a bad omen. But now, he wishes that he had gone there to get something that helped him just be able to breath but he couldn't and he was getting sleepier with each heaving breath. Just... one small... nap. Then Ashkit will get up and feel a bit better and would be able to get his legs to work and get himself over to the medicine den where he'll feel all better, unless he was right about the den after all.
He misses mama. Ashkit just wants to be held again, he's been so so lonely lately. Mama disappeared, didn't care enough about Ashkit to stay and his siblings didn't care, and the cats of Shadowclan didn't care. He was just another orphaned kit. Through the pain and through his scratchy and painful throat, and even despite himself, Ashkit hummed a little tune to himself, tears stinging his eyes and nose, "Poor Little bug on the wall. Jing jing. No one to love him at all. Jing jing..." With that sad little lullaby, the kit shut his eyes for what would be the last time in his time living.
[ OPEN, Ashkit is dead, so someone should probably get his body out of the nursery, lol ]

Mistydawn - having heard Fallowkit´s grief-stricken wails - scrambled to her paws and raced over to the nursery, slipping in before slinking back out with Ashkit´s tiny body between her jaws.
The warrior headed over to the middle of the clearing and set the tiny tom down, pressing her muzzle to his neck fluff before lifting her head and calling for ShadowClan´s leader.
