DOES HAVE A SOFT SIDE


Rotdrop woke up, he was still very tired, but he needed
to get up before he fell back to sleep. So he got up, he
licked his fur, trying to get the moss out, then he got up
to stretch, he stretched and then flicked his tail. His tail
just does that randomly, some cats think that he's trying
to tell them something, he's not.

He walked out of his den and looked up, the sky was gray,
and he could smell a storm brewing, he saw other warriors
grabbing stuff with concerned looks, even the leader was
getting stuff. Then he looked over, he saw a little kit playing
by the nursery so he walked over to it.
"Hey, what ya' doin' out here? Everyone is goin' in."

The breeze tickled his whiskers and the clouds blocked the sun. The ground felt muddy and the clearing was dark. Shadowclan was quiet and brooding while tadpolekit was not. In fact despite the storm that had appeared in the sky, Tadpolekit found himself playing with a toad he had caught. He occasionally let it go and hop away before hunting it down and catching it again. It meant nothing, wasn't important in the slightest but it was fun! And he was happy. That's all that matters really.

Mud and dirt clunk to his paws, uncomfortable but he didn't care, his focus was on other things. The storm approaching had dark grey clouds that covered the sky. It block the pretty blue sky and bright lovely sun. He liked it though, the dark grey clouds looked fluffy and the cold breeze it brought was nice. The wind was stronger and was sweeping his fur in all directions, he let out a delighted laugh before he heard a voice call out to him.

A cat he didn't recognise? "Hello!" he greeted cheerfully. Maybe he should introduce himself? What was the question the tom asked him- "oh uh, I'm chasing a fwog!" he replied enthusiastically indicating to the spot where the toad had been only to realise it was gone. "oh no it escaped! Again!" he giggled to himself, he just go find it again

Rotdrop looked at the kit, he saw the frog run away,
he could tell the kid was happy, he was usually not
like this alot, but he has a soft spot in his heart for
kits, so he ran to grab the toad, he picked it up with
his mouth.
"How bout' we go play in ma' den with da' toad?
You' oughta' have fun in ma' den with da' toad. he
said mumbling with the toad in his mouth, he tried not
to kill the toad, its his instinct to, but he just couldn't.
