Leafpaw And SquirrelPaw walked towards their usual log spot, talking. They reached it, and sat down, laughing at a joke Squirrelpaw made. "So yeah, BrambleClaw fell out of the tree, and bit His tounge! Hahahahaha!!" They laughed together, then stopped as the log lurched towards downstream. They looked worriedly at each other. The log broke free from the earth, and they were floating down river at surprising speeds. They tried and tried to swim off, but it was no use. A roaring and crashing sound was behind Leafpaw, then Squirrelpaw yowled. "Leafpaw! Waterfall! Brace for impact!" She called out, throwing herself down onto the log and gripping onto it with her claws. They count to it for life as they plummeted over the side of the water fall. They screamed, hitting the water. Leafpaw was the first to breach the surface for air, whilst SquirrelPaw was trapped under their log for a moment. They swam to the bank and threw themselves onto the sand. It clung to their fur, that was plastered to their sides. Leafpaw fell asleep while Squirrelpaw pulled herself onto the bank. When Leafpaw awoke again, SquirrelPaw spoke up. "We aren't getting back up there, it's too steep. Then Leafpaw observed her surroundings, and saw A path carved into the stone. "There," she said. "Theres our way out." She got up and made her way over to the path, and began to scale it.
