It was time.

Time for what, one may ask, and to that... Time for step two of Hazelstripe's plan to go into action. The first step of her plan to get who and what she wanted was to take advantage of a depressed Darkfall in a bid to worm into his mind that she was better than that silly Lostspark. Up next she had to get the attention of Lostspark. How was she planning to do that? Well, she was quite charming if she said so herself, so surely it couldn't be too hard. Plus, she had heard the yelling in the medicine den the other day, and based on how her beloved Enforcer was handling it, things hadn't gone smoothly. Excellent, it was time to move in on the elder of the healers.

Confidently padding into the den, she looked for the current object of her desire. No, she wasn't here for Mossfreckle today -- she'd be saving that morsel for another time. She was here for Lostspark. Their earlier interactions had unfortunately been fleeting and sparse, but now? She was determined to get the scarred medicine cat to notice her.

"Lostspark." Hazelstripe called. Her voice was low, but she had no doubt that she'd be heard. She couldn't make her intentions known quite yet after all. Based on what she could hear the other day, this one might prove to be a harder nut to crack than her former mate, but she wouldn't let that deter her. "I'd like to talk if you don't mind." Perfect. By not giving away just what it was that she wanted to talk about, she had a lot of room to segway into any possible topic. A slight grin tugged at her otherwise expressionless features as the prospect of being closer to her goal made itself clear.

Amber eyes flitted upwards to focus on the cat now standing at the mouth of her den, and Lostspark was instantly rising out of her sitting position and onto her paws. Her gaze flitted over the warrior, finding no visible injury to treat. Frowning slightly, Lostspark scented the air, and once again - the air lacked the metallic tang of blood that usually permeated her den.

Did she mind? That a warrior was ruining her peace of mind for no plausible reason during one of the only moments she had peace? Well, yes. Lostspark was irked. Annoyed, even. But her expression was strictly professional as she kept her gaze on Hazelstripe. "What is it?" In the end, it was possible Hazelstripe was having some internal problem. Lostspark tried not to frown. Was she pregnant? Having a headache? Em... Depressed, perhaps, and thought Lostspark was the cat to speak to? Was that it? Who knew. Lostspark would soon enough, hopefully.
