Beepaw moved around the camp with a new air of confidence, no longer was he a kit but now an apprentice, not to mention an apprentice at his age, that must mean something! A sign from Starclan? Maybe. A sign he would be a useful member to his clan? Most definitely! A strong warrior was close with his clan, which meant Beepaw had to start making some connections, the more the better right? The tom looked around the clearing, that cat looked like they might claw his ears off, that cat was busy talking to an apprentice, that cat was getting jumped by some kits.

Looking over his shoulder he finally managed to spot a cat that caught his attention, so without another second of hesitation, Beepaw went sprinting toward the other cat until coming to a sharp halt in front of her and instantly starting on the questions. "Hello! Who are you? I'm Beepaw! Are you a warrior or an apprentice? You look like an apprentice! How long have you been training? Are you going to be made a warrior soon? Have you fought in any battles? Who is your mentor? Do you have Bumblestar as a mentor? Hey what's your name?"

Ravenpaw’s eyes moved to look at whoever was talking to her.
Ah, that was one of the many new apprentices.
Before she could say a word, there was already a good amount of questions, and she did learn his name was Beepaw.

First things first, answer the absurd amount of questions.
“Hello, Beepaw. I’m Ravenpaw.” She said in her usual blunt tone “I’m an apprentice. I haven’t been training for very long. So, no, I won’t be a warrior soon. I’m not old enough to go to battles yet. Bumblestar isn’t my mentor, Larkswoop is.”
She talked much slower than Beepaw did, whose questions came fast.

Once Ravenpaw was sure she answered them all, she waited to see what he would say next.

Yes! First interaction successful! Beepaw began prancing around Ravenpaw silently, a calm before the storm if you will. Soon the apprentice stopped his circling and stood in front of Ravenpaw with a gasp. "Oh starclan I forgot to ask the most important questions! How would you describe the other older apprentices? Are they nice? Do you think they would like conversation? Away from the others, how are you enjoying your training? Wait have you fought or seen one of those um, uhhhh, wait what are they called again..."

Beepaw paused briefly as he tried remembering the scary predator he had been told about by one of the elders. "I can't remember the name, but they are like really really mean and they got uhh, hmmm what did they look like again? I think they had like two black stripes on their faces... Do you know what I'm talking about? I can't believe I forgot the name! I told myself I'd remember the name and everything so that I could talk about it with some cat when I became an apprentice, hey did you know I'm an apprentice now?"

More questions.
How are the cheeriest cats always the ones that interact with her?
For example, Sunpaw and Stormpaw, her two best friends, but both are extremely happy most of the time, from what she can tell.
And now another happy cat has come to talk to her.

“I haven’t interacted with many other apprentices.” Ravenpaw answered “But the ones I’ve spoken to are pretty okay. I am enjoying my training…”
She listened as Beepaw continued.
“Are you… are you talking about a badger?” She asked genuinely “No, I’ve never seen one. Just heard about them.”

Yes! Badger, that's what those beasts were called, this cat was smart! Beepaw hopped from one foot to the other with a look that could at best be described as mischief. "When I become a warrior I'm going to take down all the badgers in the forest, they better beware, Beepaw is on the way! You should help me, we could attack badgers left and right. They wouldn't even see what hit them! With the way the apprentice spoke, it sounded like he truly believed this type of feat would be possible. Only starclan knows where he's going to end up in the future.

Defeat… all the badgers?
By themselves?
Ravenpaw doesn’t fully understand how that’s possible.
Maybe Beepaw thinks it is cause he’s so tiny, well, young.

“I’ve heard badgers are big.” She commented “But that’s hard to tell if you’ve never seen one. So maybe you could defeat them when you’re a warrior.”

Beepaw puffed out his chest proudly, even this new cat believed in him! Or at least he assumed she did. "Big or small, any threat to thunderclan shall face my claws of justice." Talk about delusional, maybe his little dream had something to do with his age.

His mentor... What was his mentor's name again? It was Strike something right? Wait no that didn't sound right... Or maybe it did. Beepaw thought in silence for once until finally speaking up "Cedarstrike's my mentor, she seems really cool, I'm excited to start my training, I am going to be such a cool warrior!"
