Sort of rehashing an old plot I had ages ago for Shadowfur with this one, but I think it's a good fit for Fading!

Fading, [Warrior 1], [Warrior 2], and [Apprentice] are out remarking the outskirts border. Fading and [Warrior 1] and [Warrior 2] and [Apprentice] are in pairs, remarking different sections of the border.

An old tree branch collapses from one of the trees, falling on [Warrior 2]'s back leg and pinning it. Fading and [Warrior 1] hear the commotion and rush to help. The three of them aren't quite strong enough to move the branch off of [Warrior 2]'s leg.

Fading is about to send [Apprentice] back to camp to fetch help when the group begins hearing the sound of two animals crashing through the brush. The sound of badgers snarling reaches their ears.

Realizing that these two badgers are heading straight toward them, Fading volunteers to distract them and, hopefully, lead them away while [Apprentice] goes to find help.

Fading leaves; he catches the badgers' attention and manages to get them to change course and chase after him instead. He finds an area under some tree roots to hide in, with the badgers trying to get after him still.

Meanwhile, [Apprentice] runs back toward camp. On their way, they encounter [Warrior 3], [Warrior 4], and [Warrior 5]. The three warriors follow [Apprentice], and with the added strength they're able to free [Warrior 2]'s leg.

[Warrior 2] insists that the others go after Fading; [Warrior 1] takes [Warrior 2] back to camp while the others try to find Fading. By this point one of the badgers has grown tired of the situation and left, but one still remains, trying to break through the tree roots to get to Fading. [Warriors 3, 4 and 5], Fading, and [Apprentice] fight the badger and successfully drive it off.

So I'll need five warriors and one apprentice for this role! Whoever signs up for Warrior 2 will need to be okay with their cat's leg getting severely broken, so keep that in mind! Not necessarily FCFS since I'd like to try to include a couple of cats Fading hasn't interacted too much with.

The apprentice will need to have pre-existing battle training!
